I moved to NC about 7 years ago and had a hard time finding a barber that knows how to cut hair, until I came across my man Maurice. He's always been on point with my hair and beard. I moved about 1 hr away from his shop 3 years ago and tried to find a barber that was closer to me. After several attempts l, I went back to The Elects cause I ain't have time for foolishness. I don't mind the drive to go and have him cut my hair cause it's piece of mind to me that I know I'm gonna get what I ask for.

Maurice is great! He will give you exactly what you ask for. I drove almost a hour to get my fro shaped up. His cuts are precise and neat. The shop is very clean and upscale. If you're looking for a 5 star barber look no further! I will definitely be returning!

After moving from New York I was in need of a barber. After tons of research, I compared so many shops. He offers great services at good prices. First time there and won’t be my last. Amazing barber, with a true passion for what he does. Go see Maurice and you won’t be disappointed. He will give you the look you are asking for. Great barber to chat with and get the hairstyle you want.

Hands down the best barber. If you need a more personalized haircut experience then The Elects Barbershop is the place for you. I’ve known Maurice for 4 years now. I met Maurice when I started at my first job. He trained me and showed me the ins and outs of the job. He was always the hardest most dedicated worker. Also, if you ever need a prayer or someone to talk to Maurice is your guy. I would recommend The Elects Barbershop if you want a more one on one experience especially with COVID-19.

I've been coming to see Maurice with my boys for a long time and we have nothing but great things to say about him. He is the most professional barber I've ever had and he takes his time with all his clients making each one of us his priority as soon as we sit on that chair. He is always prompt and I like the fact that he only operates by appointment which means you are the only client in his shop when you go. Bad language is not tolerated and that gives me comfort when I go with the little ones knowing they will not be exposed to profanity. If you are looking for a dependable and skilled barber please book an appointment with Maurice at the elects barbershop!!

Maurice Hunt and his partners are very professional barbers. Maurice gave me a perfect hair cut. All of the barbers were very friendly and made me feel right at home. The shop is very clean and well maintained. I am so glad that I chose to go to The Elects Barbershop. I give the shop 5 stars! Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

Top of the line barber's and a friendly calm atmosphere plus no matter your ethnicity you can get a cut there they have all ethnicities of barbers no matter your hair type, can't go wrong with this shop...... And my barber Maurice(owner) has done a great job....
