I was sitting there for 2 hours and now one person say good morning. Or do you need a haircut? I guess they think that they could waste people time and charge them $80 for a haircut. I would never go back to a barber shop again in Charlotte barbershop starting to turn entire hair salons starting to get feminine. I miss the old barber shops. $15 for a haircut and they get you in and get you out. I don't have no time to be sitting there. Looking at you talking about sports and females all day

Derrick is a dynamic barber! He has been blending my fades for years now and he always does a great job! I highly recommend Headlines to any and everyone!

I have been bringing my boys to Slim for 7yrs, Slim is an amazing barber and the barbershop itself has a welcoming atmosphere and the other barbershop are respectful and nice. My 7yr old daughter loves going to the barbershop, she gets all the lollipops from Slim or the other barbers!

5 out of 6 master Babers work in the shop. Walk in are welcome, and the wait is never that long. Kids friendly. Females love the professional atmosphere. 5 out of 5 stars

Donnie is AWESOME!! I want to begin and say that I drive across the city just to have Donnie cut my boys hair & it is worth EVERY mile!! I’ve been bringing my boys to him for over a year now. He listens and follows exactly what you want. I’ve brought my boys to many barbers in Charlotte and simply was not satisfied! Donnie brings my boys hair to life!!Their haircuts are always NEAT & they never have scrapes & scratches from the clippers !! The staff is extra friendly, the shop is extra clean and to top it off, Donnie is ALWAYS on time!!! He definitely is gifted for cutting hair!! Come check Donnie out , you will NOT be disappointed! I promise!!!!!!!!!

Amazing cuts for my 3yo son and 14yo nephews. The price was much less than I expected. The Set up for social distancing was great. Chairs were separated by tall sheets of durable plastic. All of the barbers wore mask. Everyone was very friendly and engaged in conversation. They were also very patient with me not knowing the names and styles of the cuts because I only have one son and have never taken him to a barber shop before. To be honest, they didn't totally enforce the mask guidelines as far as customers go, but I wouldn't rate them anything less than a five simply because of that. Also note that they're a cash business (don't take cards) so remember that when you're visiting. I'd recommend anyone, adults and children, to check it out.

Dennis is great with my 3 year old son , he's always dependable on every cut . Making sure to cater to my energetic 3 year olds mood . They are clean, friendly , funny, and I love that they play sports here while you wait. This barbershop all around is the best shop for anyone needing a clean cut. They have a laid back and fun atmosphere . It truly reminds me of the movie barbershop without any of the craziness . I suggest if you are a new client to be ready for a wait, every barber here tends to stay busy but will fit you in as soon as they can . Even if we move out of Matthew's we'll drive here for the service , they treat their customers great.

Ladies if you desire a sexy but chic short cut then Headlines is the place to relax your feet. The gentlemen are warm and welcoming yet respectful but pleasing. Did I forget not hard to look ! So get that sexy chic cut and enjoy the decor.

Went in for the first time after I decided I had had enough bad haircuts at my previous barber. Definitely not a place I will be coming back to. Everything I told the barber to do, he did not do. Explicitly explaining to him that I did not want my facial hair touched or modified as I was planning on growing a beard, he went ahead and butchered my mustache and cut off my chin hair that had taken so long to grow. When asking him to take a tiny half inch off my afro, he cut off probably 2 inches and reshaped the whole style of it. Upon returning home and looking at the atrocity he left me with, I noticed deep razor cuts and razor bumps along the mediocre hairline he had attempted to line up. Not a place I would recommend. Barbers were very inattentive and insist on charging high prices on haircuts that customers are not satisfied with.

Awesome experience! Friendly and professional environment! Slim did a great job on my beard! Also loved the home town Panthers love. I tried them out bc of the community service they do and will return for the customer service they provided!
