So shine you make my day. No matter how I walk into your shop, I leave with a smile. I have had the best of the best stylists in these states, but you are the best of the best when it comes to short hair. You make me wanna cut it as soon as it grows out. I can’t thank you enough for coming to the rescue once again. Your Shop, your family, and the other barber there always are welcoming. You are my sunshine when my hair goes bad, you make me happy and never sad, I always know that when my hair Is looks mad, you make it happy and I’m so glad… 🌞

First time here and won't be my last. Dillion gave me a cut. I asked for a simple fade with just a little off the top. Its been about 3-4 months so my hair was long and he asked questions about my last cut and how i wanted it. I assured him just a simlpe fade but I appreciate him asking questions and trying to give me exactly what I wanted and thats what he did. Very friendly atmosphere as well as the other barbers. Would recommend and definitely going back for my next cut.

I was looking for a good stylist in the area, and Grit was recommended to me by my husband who loves going to Eric. I took the chance, and made the appt with Sonshine after seeing only great reviews on her. She took time asking the right questions, making sure she matched my haircut with my lifestyle, and i instantly felt comfortable with her. What a Pro! I am very happy with my new 'Do' :-) . I'll be sitting in her chair again soon.

Eric went above and beyond to help me out. My father had a stroke and has been in a rehab. Eric took time on his day off to go and give my dad a beard trim and haircut. The best customer service I have ever experienced. I will never go anywhere else. Client for life..

First time I have been there. I had sonshine. I have been in Charlotte for almost five years and have gone to three stylist. She is the only one that has done the cut I wanted.very pleasant and friendly and listens to what you want. I certainly will be going back again and definitely recommend the GRIT!

Got tired of driving 30-45 minutes away for a beard trim and occasional head shave. Decided to give a local place the opportunity to do my next beard trim and Grit Barbershop did not disappoint! Kayla did an awesome job with my beard trim today. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Best haircut+beard trim I have ever received. Haven't been to a barber outside of the large chain salons before, but it is difficult to think that I would ever go anywhere else other than Grit. Incredibly nice staff, every inch of the store tells a story, and Erik was able to answer every question I had regarding beard and hair. As a side note to the review, the coolest part of the experience for me was the century old (maybe older?) barber chairs they use. Do I know anything regarding the history of the craft? Absolutely not, but it is always impressive to see historical pieces such as those being maintained and still used to this day.

I've finally found my go-to barbershop! Where else can you get a fresh cut, a free drink, and barbers with sidearms? It's like stepping into a wild west movie, but with better hair. It is refreshing to find a place with consistency and professionalism, I never have to worry about bad haircuts again!

Highly recommend Grit, took my son to get his haircut here and Erik and everyone there is super friendly and the setup and awesome. I will be booking myself a cut next time and we will definitely be regulars here!
