Gordon’s barbershop is a staple of a community that is becoming rare and forgotten but they are here to stay. Smalls is my barber, his experience and demeanor is beyond his years. I appreciate him getting me right every time! Check them out!

I haven't had the best experience with haircuts in Charlotte since I moved. None worth reviewing 5 stars. This was easily the best spot I've been to. Smalls, the Mad Scientist got me right and was super detail oriented. I will be back

The oldest barbershop in Charlotte also happens to be the best one! The shop has a welcoming, old school feel and offers traditional services from a staff that is both incredibly professional and skilled - cutting all ages, hair types, & styles at an affordable price. I moved to the area about a year ago, and after trying out a few other barbers was fortunate sit in Uncle Pete's chair and won't be going anywhere else.

This barbershop is a true gem in Charlotte. Vintage, classic, with a historic setting, Gordon’s Historic Barbershop earns its name and then some. Smalls and Peter are both excellent barbers who always make sure I look my best. Glad to be a loyal customer.

I don't like barbershops but as a single mom its something I have to do...this place is clean and decent. I like thats its not crowded and I can book my services online. I just wish they were a bit more friendly. Not many smiles...but that seems to be the issue everywhere so maybe its me....anywho the cut was sharp and my son liked that he wasn't too rough with him. I would go back!

Just moved to the area and decided to give Gordon’s Historic Barbershop a try, glad I did! Smalls, the Mad Scientist, gave me a clean, sharp cut, and Pete in the next chair was finishing up a smooth cut as well. The vibe was welcoming, the team made me feel right at home, and they even shared a few great local recommendations. Pricing was reasonable, and the whole experience felt like a true neighborhood spot. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for quality and good company.

I had a great experience at this classic barber shop with Uncle Pete. He gave me a great haircut and sharp beard trim, taking his time to get everything just right. Gordon's Barbershop was an amazing experience..felt like home..such a friendly environment..my wife loved the atmosphere..and to top it off i got an amazing cut from my nephew, my Godson, Kareem Smalls..such a humble young man..so proud that he is doing what makes him happy..will definitely travel to Charlotte from Charleston to experience it all again..

This has been my go to barber shop going on 2 years now. Uncle Pete has been a good barber, friend, ear to talk in to and mentor to me and Mr. Gordon has been the best mentor I could have asked for. My mom scheduled and booked his doctor visits and he in return kept us all in his prayers and treated us like family…
