I've been going to Chris for about 8-10 years now. Appointments are flexible and he is always on time with his appointment. I used to hate going to a barber and sitting waiting an hour to get a cut when I could have been doing something else with my time. If he book you for 5:00pm, you're sitting down in the chair at 5:00pm. It's definitely a family friendly atmosphere as I take my 5 & 7 yr olds there and never have to worry about language or anything like that. Five Stars (pun intended) and highly recommended.

Coming from someone who has been going to great clips most of my life, I can proudly say I will never be going back there again. Chris at Five Star Barber Salon did a fantastic job, he took his time with my hair and didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed out the door, I highly recommend going there.

New to the area in need of a barber and I stumbled upon this place. Instantly when you walk in you are greeted welcomed by the barbers. Chris is the barber who cuts my hair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go and request him. He listened to exactly how I wanted my hair cut and delivered! He cut with quality and efficiency. I was in and out. He also accepts appointments. 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND. Call or pop up and ask for Chris. He’s been cutting my hair now for 2 years.

I am a frequent customer at the Five Star Salon for several years. Out of all the barbers that I have visited, this place has provided me with some of the most detailed as well as polite staff around. I also recommended the barber Chris due to his extensive expertise.

I was recommended by my Sister...I needed a hair cut for my girlfriend’s graduation. No one has been able to achieve the haircut I have been wanting for the past four or five haircuts. Not until I walked into this place and Ronnie was getting up and my Sis said “there he is”. I’m VERY particular about my hair and he took his time with me as I showed him the shading I wanted all around and how low to go up top! Ronnie is the first person in two years or more to cut my hair just as I wanted it! Although I live in SC, I’m in Charlotte one week out the month and he will be my new barber from now own!! Very polite, professional, took his time and I was and still am satisfied with my haircut. A week later I am still getting compliments on my haircut, now that’s a Master Barber!! Thank you Five Star and thank you Ronnie!!

Let me just tell you! So I got both of my kids hair cut at a different place and they screwed my kids hair up so bad I thought it couldn't be fixed. Well I brought them here and James fixed it and did the cleanest cut my son has ever had. Then I walked through the back to the salon and Stephanie fixed my daughters hair with no problem. They were all so nice and it was over all a great experience! This will be our permanent place from now on!

Five stars for a five star barbershop. I came here after not visiting a barber for years. I had been cutting own hair. A co-worker recommend the place to me. I was very surprised and satisfied with the attention to detail of the quirks of how my hair grows. I have a cowlick in the front I said nothing about that Chris did not overlook. He even lined my impossible to line hairline where it actually looks natural. I didn't expect much but I was very impressed with the results. Needless to say, I don't think I'll go another five years without seeing a barber.
