The owner refused to shave my undercut without even asking what I wanted because I'm a woman and waved me off when I was simply trying to say it was an undercut (my hair was up in a clip). Then refused to do my bf's undercut because he had long hair until he explained it was a simple undercut and then he made racist comments to my bf whose white, about another patron. The lady barber here is phenomenal though! She's kind and listens! She's his saving grace. Sje explained to hom after doing my undercut and he laugjed like it was a joke. Hes so disrespectful and rude. Acquaintances took us here and we won't go back. Worst experience I've ever had.

Two stars only because the price wasn't outrageous. Never have I had my beard get so botched, and uneven until I came here. Guy doesn't know how to line properly. Hair wasn't faded, was just a regular short cut. Maybe a good place for simple cuts but never coming back here again, my beard has never been so fkd up until this place

If you're looking for a real barber shop, this is the place. Excellent attention to details, warm shaving cream, straight razer finish, hair cut & beard trim with unbeatable prices. I felt like a million bucks afterward. The first chair in is a man named Russ and he is highly skilled. I haven't been to anyone else in the shop so if they're anything like Jerry, you will not be disappointed.

Always a great experience with this barber shop. Everyone is friendly and all the barber's are very experienced. I go here for my cuts every month. Been going here for over 3 years now. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. No appointment is required and typically you can get seated within 30 minutes of walking through the door. Today I went and walked right into a chair. Excellent service for haircuts in Saint Charles County, Cottleville, and the surrounding areas.

Mickey - oh man. I've had about a zillion barbers and hairstylists, from $5 cuts, to $100 cuts and Mickey is my favorite. The first time I saw her, I explained a few issues I was having when styling my hair, and she explained why I was having said issues, and said she would do her best to work with them. I'm not kidding you when I say that when Mickey cuts my hair, I literally don't even need hair product. It just lays perfectly where it's supposed to. She cleans up my beard and mustache much better than I ever could with my 347 different tools I've accumulated, to do so, and I always leave with a smile on my face, feeling like a new man. As long as I live in this town, I will never go anywhere else.

Been here a few times with my boyfriend. I love the prices and they do a good job but the last time i didn't feel welcome. The staff told us our relationship is bound to fail because we are young and even though I was only waiting I felt like I should leave. The staff clearly didn't like me as a young lady. They didn't greet me and ignored me when I spoke. I know I wasn't the one getting a hair cut but i will never be back. Respect=0

I have been getting my haircut by Ed at Reed's for years starting back in 2005 when he had a shop in Chicago. Ed moved to the St Louis area 4-5 years ago and ironically two years after that I ended up here too. Naturally, I hit Ed up the second I got here because I never found a solid replacement for him after he left Chicago and he has been cutting my hair ever since. Simply put, I would not trust anyone but Ed with my hair. Ed is a complete professional and highly skilled. My hair is very thin and light, so it is not at all easy to cut but Ed makes it look easy, that's how awesome he is. Additionally, Ed has become an excellent friend. I always look forward to our conversations about golf, hockey, music and life. Reed's is a very clean, bright and comfortable environment. I'm always happy while there.

Great place for a great cut. I've been seeing Reed by appointment now for almost a year. The first time I saw him I described the cut I wanted and he nailed it. They've only been getting better ever since. Reed does a fantastic job. He is easy to get an appointment with, several times I've called the day of and he's been able to fit me in. He's extremely apologetic if he can't find a time for me. Recommend his Barbor shop to anyone looking for a great haircut.
