My first time in the shop, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and experience. Donna is very welcoming, kind and a true master of her craft. She proved to me that my bushy mane of a beard could be tamed with her craftsmanship. I highly recommend, and I look forward to going back!

Donna killed it! New to having a beard and had NO idea what to do or what direction to go with it. This was my first time at Whiskey Beards and I scheduled out future appointments every 3-4 weeks I was so happy with the results and cut! Hot towel, straight razor shave, beard shape, beard products, great people and great atmosphere! They take time and don’t rush you in and out. Cigars lounge available as well if that’s your sort of thing! A++

DA is amazing! I gave her a Grizzly looking beard and crazy hair to work with and she did not disappoint. The atmosphere and service is awesome. 100% recommend this place!

Found Whiskey Beard while I was in KC just by searching Google, and it delivered real city vibes from the jump. Their site says they take walk-ins—and they absolutely mean it. I was in the chair fast, no hassle. The shop has great energy, top-tier hospitality, and barbers who clearly know their craft. If you’re anywhere in the KC area and want a clean, fresh look, this is the spot. Donna and Preston make you feel like you’ve been coming there for years. Five stars, easy. 🫳🏽🎤

Hands down the best barbershop I’ve been to and I haven’t been able to go to another shop since coming here. The vibe is always welcoming and the atmosphere feels like home. I’ve been going to Martin for years now and with every cut he goes above and beyond to make sure I am having the most comfortable and excellent experience. If you need a cut and are looking for a new home, this is the place for you!

Found out this place was close to my office and decided to give it a try. WOW! I had the best haircut of my life. D.A. was really personable and was extremely skilled in her craft. Couldn’t be more pleased. My beard even looks like a million bucks. On top of a great hair cut and beard trim D.A, gave me some tips on how to properly trim my beard. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back.

I’ve had a beard for seven years and I’ve never gotten a professional trim done. So I was little excited and a little nervous. This afternoon I had an appointment with D.A after work. She was awesome. Great conversation, made me feel welcome and at home, wasn’t in a rush but didn’t take forever either. And it turned out better than I even expected. I brought a few pictures with some ideas of what I was kind of going for and she asked a few questions and then she said “I got you“. And she did. I told her when we were done that my beard had never looked that good and I wasn’t kidding. It wasn’t empty flattery, it was the truth. Thanks D. A. I will definitely be back when I’m in KC again. Great experience.

I walked into Whiskey Beard not knowing but less than a handful of people and left with a lot of laughs, random adventures, smiles, group talks, deep connections and a place where I could really unwind from life and just focus on the here and now. Excellent song choices. People? DIFFERENT. AMAZING. CHARISMATIC. UNIQUE. HUMBLE. CURIOUS. FORWARD. COURTEOUS. Both levels were equally fun and interactive. I was cordially introduced to the owners one by one and shown transparent feelings. This is a place you make TRUE friends. This is a place you keep only to the friends who would appreciate such a diamond in the rough and treat it with respect. The owners worked hard, even as owners, not expecting anything but added comfort for the patrons. 10/10 recommend, everyone made my experience memorable!!!!! Such a small world and to make so many connections was a blessing.
