My son had his hair cut here today. Conner did a wonderful job! Just had a picture for reference and when my son wasn't happy he took his time to change it to my son's preference.

Remember the old style barber shop? I do. This barber shop is refreshing as a throwback to to simpler times. Knowledgeable and courteous, these are the guys! Want to look good, but not pay the price that some of them want you to pay? Do yourself a huge favor, stop by, and leave knowing that you'll be back!
Owner's response
Dude thank you we love you! And you’re always welcome back!

Hy son had went to another barber and really messed his line up. Thankfully Conner was available for a walk in. I absolutely will be going to Baldwin now on. THANKS AGAIN!!

Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Nice atmosphere. Got a great haircut, professional service and good conversation! $20 bucks is a very fair price now days. Give this place a shot! The owner was friendly, skilled and there are not many owner operated small businesses like this anymore. Feels good to support these types of establishments where a real customer service experience is still offered. Thank you Connor
Owner's response
Dude Thankyou so much for this, I’m sorry I didn’t reply sooner!

Update. Jim has moved on which is sad, but I understand why and wish him the best. If you are in Clinton, MO, look Jim up as you won't be dissapointed. Clinton, MO, you are getting a great barber. Conor has taken over the shop. He's not answering the phone so unsure if the shop is still open as I was driving from Blue Springs to have Jim cut my hair and don't want to drive over if the guy's not open. He is new at cutting hair. He did OK and my hair is not easy by any stretch (Jim was the first guy to really figure it out and explain it in a way I can tell others in the future). I hope people give him a break and a chance as it will take him time to learn and to become a Jim. Certainly for the fact he's still charging 9 bucks a cut, give the guy a break. *********Old Review**************** Jim does a great job. Reasonably priced at $9. I tip well because he is worth more. Men talk...old style barber shop. You won't be disappointed.

Jim knew exactly how to cut my hair. I would be going back more if his hours were better. For those who want a laid back atmosphere with quite fun and interesting conversations if you're a guy is well worth it. Definitely an old school barbershop, one of the last out there in KC it seems. Also he's very inexpensive, like $9 inexpensive at the time of this review!!! (Make sure you tip him well). Just expect a wait sometimes. Definitely one of the best haircuts I've gotten in my life from one of the nicest guys I've met in the haircutting business. I just wish his hours were better as they almost never work with my schedule. If you can make it, you HAVE to check out Jim!!!

**UPDATE: 12.30.2020** My wife & I happened to be in the neighborhood & she said, "Ya wanna stop in & see if you can get your haircut?", I was like hell right I do. I went in & there were about 5 gentlemen in the shop. I asked Jim about how long is the wait?, cause my wife & I had other things to do, & Jim said he only had 2 people in front of me, so I stuck around, and I'll tell you what thank goodness I did. Man, Jim is one of those individuals who you can tell right off the bat what his personality is like and I was impressed. Jim is an extremely cordial, welcoming & friendly person. I felt so "at home" in his shop. Did I mention he gave me the best haircut I have had since I was in high school. He listened to what I asked for and completely delivered. I handed him all the cash I had on hand and he said, "The haircut is only $9", & I said, "You're services are 100% worth it and more". He thanked me and I said, "No, thank you & I'll be back in 2 weeks for another cut". He is so humble. Awesome job Jim!!! You're really a rad dude.** I have heard nothing but positive things about Jim's personally as well as how happy the customer(s) were with their haircut and the laid back atmosphere. I can't wait to schedule an appointment. Jim? If you happen to read this I wanted to let you know that the website that is listed on Google Maps isn't valid. Another thing, I was told that Jim is one hell of a musician/banjo & guitarist.

Love this place. It has that home feeling, good customers, good conversations and of course, great haircuts. Price is perfect too. I revel in the fact I can get my haircut and tip him and still be less than the cost of those other hair butcheries. Jim is very welcoming, has a good customer base and actually talks to you and not just for small talk.
