While looking for a new barber because my current barber is always 10-20 mins late even when I book well in advance for 1st appointment in the morning. I came across Solewtion while looking, Reynard Charles had great reviews so I booked with him online for a 7am appoint. Mr Charles text me 30 mins prior to my appointment stating he would be 45 mins late. When I questioned him about this his response was…”you cancelled on me late yesterday..then you want me to get up early early this morning” I informed Mr Charles that I had not cancelled on him as I had set one appointment on line. “This isn’t Jayquon?” I told him no. “My bad, I thought this was someone else. I can be there in 10-15 mins.” Needless to say I cancelled. Regardless of whom you think it is, this is poor customer service all the way around and not a great impression for a potential client.

I had gone to another barbershop but it was temporarily closed on Thursdays and I needed a haircut right away. I waited only a few minutes and explained what kind of haircut I needed. When it was finished I was a bit surprised how short the sides were, but that was fine. What wasn't fine was that the part was so far down on the left side of my head it looked like a total comb-over. I tried to fix it by moving the part up and trimming quite a bit of hair on the side. This continued the next day after I had shampooed. Another problem was a lot of hair in the back was long and some was short. I couldn't figure out why but have fixed it as well as I could. Bottom line: I'm sure these guys are great for black-person haircuts but old white guys are likely to be somewhat disappointed.

It was first time in the shop. I was a walk-in with no appointment so I had to wait until someone freed up. It was worth the wait. I got a sharp beard edge up that made my wife say "that's your new barber right" when I got home. The shop has a good fun barber shop vibe to it. A great passionate debate on the NBA basketball legacy of Derek Fisher and other topics helped make the wait seem short.

Great service the guys in there are eager to help with very nerves children my son's barber came to the door and got him to come in and get in the chair in a matter of seconds after I spent 20 mins in the car conveniencing him to come and more time to get him in the door and here come Mr. Melvin Johnson and said a few words and every hair cut visit now my son runs for the door so comforting for a single mom .

I called 8 barbershops. 8! I called these guys. And boom. I’m fresh as ever. Clean work. Great atmosphere. And even better. Solid straight razor work. I’m super picky on where I go and get work done. And this place is THE place. Thank you guys!

First time I ever got my haircut here. And I am all smiles!!! Came in on the Saturday before Christmas and was in and out in a timely fashion. Service was professional and quick! I was taken care of by Renard; he listened to my request and added his own stylistic charm to give me an original Haircut. He was very meticulous and took great care in ensuring I had a great experience. He’s a charming guy and has an easy going vibe about him, so time flies while in his chair. Variety of payment methods and user friendly scheduling. I will be using him from here on out!!! :-) —one satisfied customer

I'm rating this a big 0 for lack of professionalism. Tuesday at 11a sign says "open come in" but the door is locked, lights inside and no one in sight. I called the number provided a few times and no answer. Bad first impression and I was really looking forward to getting a cut here because of all the great reviews. Oh well!
