Simon was very helpful, took the time to help us figure out what my son was looking for and made it come to life! The cut and style turned out awesome! My son mentioned afterwards, “It felt like everyone knew each other. They were all giving high 5s and hugs”. Fun atmosphere, we’ll be back again!

I have received haircuts from Donny at Details over the last 3 years. Donny takes the time to listen to my specific needs and I walk out with a great cut every time. I highly recommend Details and Donny in particular for a precise haircut and outstanding customer service.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Brought my son in to see Malik. My son had gotten a bad haircut at a different barber shop, and needed it fixed. We didn’t even know if it was possible. Malik is AMAZING. My son was extremely pleased with the outcome. We will definitely be back.

I want to share how grateful I am for Dee at Details Barbershop. My son had a rough first professional haircut experience at another place, and Dee has been the person who helped him feel comfortable with haircuts again simply by being steady, kind, and patient. Dee never made it a big thing or acted like he specializes in anything — he’s just a genuinely good man who treats people with respect and takes his time. Every visit, he shows the same calm, grounded presence, and you can tell he cares about giving a good experience as much as a good haircut. His work is consistently great, and my son actually gets excited to go visit Dee. Simon (in the first chair) is also a truly kind guy. It’s clear the whole shop is built on good people and solid work, not gimmicks or big claims. If you’re looking for barbers who are patient, genuine, and take pride in what they do, Details Barbershop is a wonderful place. Dee has been a gift for our family, and we appreciate him a lot.

Anoki Lee hands down gives the best cuts in MN. Highly personable and makes you feel comfortable. Recommended for anyone, especially if it's your first time at this shop or with a new barber. I send him a ton of referrals, and they are always thanking me because he's just that good at what he does its like he's got a laser in his clippers and studied geometry with Leonardo Da Vinci!

I had gone to a different barber shop (not affiliated with Details Barber) and they really messed up my haircut. I needed a quick fix and hoped to find someone closer to home who could get me in last minute. I called Details Barber, Simon answered, and he even skipped his lunch break to squeeze me in. Personable, professional, and genuinely cares about his clients—thank you, Simon!

We are BEYOND HAPPY with our experience at Details! We have been to many, many different barbers and none could capture what my son wanted for his hair. This has made haircuts a fight every time. We saw Ram today at Details in Stillwater- he hooked my boy up just right! We now have our go-to stylist, and I have a happy and handsome young man 😁 Check out the before and after. Added bonus- PAC-Man and candy for the little sibling while we waited. And Ram addressed me as “Miss”, not “Ma’am”. Well done sir!

Donny is phenomenal! I am in my 50s and have been searching my entire life for a great haircut with no success…. Until now. A year ago I decided to try Details Barbers, and Donny listened to what I wanted and proceeded to execute it flawlessly. Now a year later, and I can say he consistently delivers the best haircut! I highly recommend this business, and Donny is a master at his craft!!

DeeDaBarber takes the time to listen to what my teen wants each time we come in. They chat about the specifics & details. Each time we leave my child says how much he loves his haircut. He smiles in the car in the mirror talking about each part of the cut he is impressed with. Thank you Dee for being the amazing barber my child can trust. We appreciate you! Simon the vibe is amazing in the barber shop. I personally love the art on the wall. I like how yall greet each person that walks in. Amazing work to all the barbers here at Details!
