Dan is an incredible barber but most importantly, he’s a great human. This is an old school barbershop and he’s the vibe the neighborhood needs. He’s great with beards too. He keeps it real and learns about you and your family so it truly feels like a neighborhood barber shop.

I have found my new barber. This place does excellent work for a very reasonable price. Payment is cash only, but it is worth the inconvenience. So rare is it that you can get a top notch haircut for under twenty dollars!

My go to barbershop in uptown. Always get exactly what I want and good prices for haircuts. No frills style barbershop, would definitely recommend for your everyday haircut needs. Make sure to make an appointment ahead of time on the website. Not open every single day of the week

I love this place. Dan, the current owner and only barber there is awesome. Ive never had a bad experience and always love how he cuts my beard and hair. I never know how i want it done, but i always end up happy walking out the door. Definitely a must if you're in the area and need a haircut.

Have had 2 cuts here and dread writing this review because I don't want anyone else to find out about this place, but I can't not leave a good note on the internet because the haircuts are always reasonably priced and, simply, perfect. Dan does a fantastic job, is fast, and always offers up a good chat. The clientele is mostly older folks, but is welcoming to all. Excited to keep coming back!

This is a place for men who want to look good and not have the experience of “salons” that are high priced and frankly not worth it. I have only been coming for 2 months, but I’ll never go anywhere else. The quality of the cut is excellent and the environment is masculine and old school. I’m grateful to have found this gem.

I used to go here as a kid in the 80s Glenn was the absolute greatest. Stopped in for the first time in 25+ years, his son is running the place and it's exactly as I remember it. He's very nice, super professional, a great haircut for a fair price. About the same price you'd pay anywhere else but you're helping out a neighborhood institution. Just like the old barbershop your dad or grandpa went to. Highly recommend it!
