I'm not going to write a bad review because I've gotten a lot of good hair cuts here, but I need to leave some feedback: Damon, you REALLY need to make a habit of verbally confirming what the client wants before cutting. The last time I came in, I asked for a "2 on the sides" and walked out with a fade that I didn't want. This time, I asked for "mohawk like the other times, 2 on the sides" and you buzzed off the back of my mohawk. I think what would help is if you'd just re-state out loud exactly what you're going to do before beginning every haircut to make sure you and the client are on the same page. All the haircuts you've given me have looked professional but we're only 1 for 3 here for giving me the haircut I was asking for. It would only take an extra 30 seconds for you to just restate in plain english exactly what you're going to do before cutting to make sure there are no miscommunications, especially before buzzing off hair that's long.

I have never posted a Google review anywhere before, but I just received the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Extraordinarily uneven. I immediately shaved my head back to an all over buzz as soon as I got home. Not the end of the world as I was in the awkward process of growing out a buzz, but I lost about 4 months of progress. Stylist was very friendly but I do not think they actually knew what they were doing. Very haphazard. Do not go here if you care about your hair!

Loury is my go-to person! She knows how I like my hair, and she’s great company during the cut. I always look forward to booking with her. My previous stylists were okay, but my hair always grew out in an unflattering way - Loury at Floyd’s always leaves me with a great style, and it grows back in a super manageable way. I’m a busy person so the less frequently I need to come in the better, and I’m so thankful to have found such a great stylist who gets me!

I was nervous about getting a haircut away from my regular spot. I made sure I had specific instructions for my cut and they nailed it perfectly. Great taper fade. And it was only $36!! This may become my regular spot. Update: just got my haircut from Tim and it's looking so good. I'm so glad I found a place that knows how to give fades. Such great service. This is now my regular place.

By far one of the worst haircuts I've gotten. The lady took no time to listen and really understand what I wanted. I had pictures for reference and she simply glanced at them and started cutting. She did 3 quick swipes with her trimmer and there was no coming back. She styled my hair at the end and it looked like my 4 year old did my hair. The only good part was she did a good job on the neck and cheek lines of my beard.

I had an appt that was canceled on the same day due to unforeseen circumstances. That's cool stuff happens. I re booked with a specific person. I arrived only to learn she moved to another location. Very poor communication. The service is poor at best. The employees seem miserable. Another terrible corporation people over profit example. I will say Damon did a great job cutting my hair.

Our favorite stylist is now FT at the Uptown location! Easy to find and ample parking on a Saturday morning. Shop is set up a little differently from The North Loop location but very spacious. My little guy really enjoys having his hair cut by Katherine and how she styles his hair each time when she is done. Atmosphere is fun and welcoming. I would recommend this location as well!

**update: I scheduled a haircut at 5:30pm online. It was super easy. 10/10 would recommend** They cut hair well. Better than great clips but not a salon. Most of the stylist know what they are doing and out of the 30 plus time I've been here I've only had one bad cut and I got a $5 coupon for my next visit. Only complaint is you can't schedule hair cuts after 5 at night.

This place was incredible! My first haircut in Minneapolis and I'll definitely be stopping by again. My haircut was with Caitlin and she was great!! I love the atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and they have comics to read while you wait!

Great barbershop. Receptionists and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The guy that does my hair, Chris, is awesome. He always does a great job and at this point I'm almost afraid to go to someone else. It's usually busy but you're able to call ahead and schedule up to a week in advance.
