My dad is 94 and loves this barber shop! He will not go anywhere else. If he could hear better he would probably never leave! He's a great guy!

I recently visited a fantastic barbershop where the atmosphere was as great as the haircut itself. The hairstylist listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly, leaving me with a sharp, clean look. What really made the experience stand out was the atmosphere. There was a genuine, friendly vibe; the people sitting around were engaged in lively conversation, making the wait time fly by. It felt less like a typical barbershop and more like a community hub. The excellent service combined with the welcoming environment ensures I will be returning. Highly recommended!

Such a neat place! We live an hour away, but were in Fridley for a basketball tournament. My son needed a haircut and a quick Google search led me here. Conversation was great and the haircut was excellent. Exactly what my son was looking for. Highly recommend - 10/10!

Nice friendly guy cut my hair while some people sat around and talked. I laughed and got a good cut. I always pay $30 or $35 for a haircut because I think it's fair. I'll be back ` ` ` ̿ ̿ ̿̿'̿̿\̵͇̿̿\=(•̪●)=/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿ ̿ ̿ ` ` `

Like an old time barbershop! All the clients talk up a storm and are entertaining. And my brother always gets a great cut!

Just went to Cope’s for the first time today. I had a great experience. John (Cope) was very friendly and he did a great job with my cut. The place is small but honestly, I kind of liked that. It was just Cope and a few of us customers shooting the breeze while Cope cut hair. His price was super affordable as well (15 Bucks)! Needless to say, I gave him a good tip, thanked him for the service and went on with my day. After many failed attempts at finding a barbershop that I like, I finally found one. Thanks again Cope! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down the best barber shop in the area, small town vibe & tons of dad jokes to be had. Cope did a fantastic job on both mine & my son’s haircuts, definitely coming back again!

Cope's is not just a barbershop, it's an American institution. A real experience of a real American business where customer service, good conversation can mean therapy for a man. The price is unbeatable so make sure you over tip. They don't take appointments; which in my opinion is even better, you get to sit longer through good stories and conversation, almost a vacation from reality. This is something I have never experienced coming from NYC; a taste of small town America, I love it. If Cope's was in my backyard I'd come every week.

Just a wonderful experience from a newbie in the area. Was recommended by a co-worker. Old school Barber feel, GREAT and HILARIOUS conversations while getting professionally cut at an outstanding price! Be prepared to laugh at neighborhood conversations, be welcomed as a newbie, and have a great experience. Best barber in town!

This review has nothing to do with a cut! I wanted to try this place out for the first time. I called beforehand to make sure they could take a walk in during their listed hours. The phone number was no longer in service. I drive here to see a sign saying they're closed. Please update your phone so this doesn't happen to others.
