I have been getting hair cuts at Ardy's for the past 6 months after several poor cuts through the cheapie places (eg great clips). I have been seeing Melissa who has been wonderful. She is always fun to talk with and the cut is perfect. Easy to schedule and very convenient spot right in main street Elk River. They've made me a customer for life.

This barbershop is an absolute gem! I showed up right as they opened without an appointment and Melissa was very kind to squeeze me in. She hit it out of the park with my haircut based on how I described it. I was looking for a new barber due to recently moving. I found her! Tips: Call for an appointment & bring cash for payment. Wonderful experience!

This old school barber shop has been open since 1913. 💈 Only $21 for a men's haircut! Melissa did a great job cutting African hair! We'll be going here from now on.

It's been over a week since my first haircut with Melissa and I am truly still impressed with how she cut my hair. My lifelong barber of 47 years recently retired, and I found Ardy's on Main by just a search for "haircut near me". I am so glad I found Ardy's on Main! Melissa was extremely accommodating and patient when I scheduled my appointment and did such a wonderful job. She was fast & efficient, fun to talk to, and I am extremely thrilled with the haircut I received. Not only all of that but the cost was extremely fair and I will be back next time to see Melissa for sure. Thank you for doing such a great job for me!

My husband has been having his hair cut by Melissa for the last several years and it's always looked amazing! Today she gave my son his first hair cut and she did such a great job! Both have cowlicks that are so difficult and she really cut them perfectly to manage easily. Thanks for making his first hair cut go so smoothly!

The ladies are all very friendly and professional. This has that old time barbershop feel, that we grew up on. Getting shave, on your neckline, makes the cut look clean much longer!

Absolutely wonderful experience, my fiance was looking for a barber he could trust and walk away from happy and he got just that. I really loved that even though this was his first time they made us feel welcome as if we've always been going there. Prices are great and Amy knows what she's doing, and is a joy to talk to. We will definitely be coming back

Mellissa and Amy are awesome, have tried to find a stylist like for for years. Probably tried at 30 different hair stylist and Melissa is the best by far. This include me paying four times her price at least too.

Amy and her daughter Melissa are awesome and whatever is asked, is done wonderfully. My boyfriend has been going to see Amy for over 30 years! He has only good things to say. Good people. Highly recommended!!!!

Amy knows how to cut hair. I won't go anywhere else unless it's an absolute emergency. She might even be a little better than the previous owner. Sorry Ardy but she is good 😀
