I visited this shop twice. Yasmin gave me the best haircut I could ever ask for. I have been in Minnesota for nearly 16 years, and I just found my favorite barber today.

I'm unfortunately posting an updated review after my latest interaction with the shop's owner, Sergio, who was unhelpful and rude. This shop is completely disorganized when it comes to scheduling and keeping appointments. When calling in to confirm an appointment I had with a specific barber later in the day, the owner of the shop yelled at me that the barber was not in and he didn't know when he would be working again, and refused to help me, even though I had booked an appointment through their scheduling app with that specific barber on a specific day/time. Trust me, don't waste your time here - there are many other talented barbers in the area that will keep their appointments.

Don’t let Sergio the owner cut your hair. He acknowledged my instructions with no questions. Showed a picture of what I wanted and failed sloppily. I confronted him after and didn’t pay his full amount because he just gave up on the haircut. Called him out with pictures again and he banned me. Gave him $20 and was leaving when he threatened to call the cops. What a clown. Been here many times and the other barbers are decent and Oliver is the best. Even though there’s a language barrier the other barbers are solid. Sergio have a bad attitude and short tempered!

Great barbershop all around. The shop is mostly Hispanic, but English is available and everyone is welcoming. They’re fast but still very detailed, and they check in throughout the cut to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. Prices are way better than most of the competition in the area, especially for the quality. There’s music playing which keeps the vibe relaxed, restrooms are available, and they even sell drinks and snacks. I’ve gotten my hair cut by every barber here and have always walked out satisfied. And don’t sleep on the woman barber — she cuts just as good, if not better, than the rest. Highly recommend.

When I went to the barber shop, I went and talked to the barber of getting a fade. But, the fade wasn’t blended well and didn’t look clean, so I had to get it fixed somewhere else. I really felt disappointed because I expected a sharper fade. I had trouble explaining the style I wanted because of a language misunderstanding. I recommend going to a barber you can communicate clearly with so you can make sure both sides understand the haircut request.”

Love the folks that work here and the quality is great. They both English and Spanish friendly. Been coming here for 1year and never disappoints. Come get your haircut or beard trim!!!

The fade blending itself was good. However. My temples were left lopsided. On top of that, buisness was running an hour late. I wasn’t notified about that prior to showing up and my number was on file. I waited a hour past the scheduled time to get my haircut. I was charged a 7.25% tax. Minnesota doesn’t charge taxes on haircuts. Like I said. The fade was good, but was overshadowed by getting an extra inch cut off my temple.

Both my kids got their haircuts at a different shop prior to me googling & finding this place (30mins from our home) -when I called, they told me yes let’s get them in. So we came, & they went above and beyond to fix their hair , took their time. I will definitely be back again. Thank you so much!

Thank you very much Sergio and Jazmin for the wonderful service you provided us. Since my arrival in this state of Minnesota I had not found a place as special as this barber shop. I say special because they serve special children with so much love and patience. I totally recommend JS Barber shop and from today I name it a special barbershop for special clients and special needs. My children are autistic and they felt at home full of love and better vibes once again, thank you

I have been getting my haircut since last 8 months with this barber shop. I usually get my haircut from Oliver. He provides an excellent haircut. Last time I had haircut with Wilson and he was good too. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get a nice haircut. I have had haircut in many other barber shop before I found this place but this is the best of all in the twin cities area. The guys are friendly and best at their jobs.
