I came in for the first (and last) time today because my usual barber was closed. My Premium Cutz barber did a terrible job: he cut off an inch more than I asked for and basically ended up giving me a buzz cut, so now I have a very different hairstyle that I didn’t want. I normally get part of my hair cut with clippers and the rest with scissors, but he used only clippers and did a bad job as a result. It seems like he might not be equipped for hair styles like mine and/or he might not know how to cut hair like mine (straight, thick). I wish I had known — I wouldn’t have come in. And now I need to wait a few months for my hair to grow out again. It also took way too long. My haircuts normally take 10-15 minutes and buzz cuts usually take 5-10, but I was in the chair for well over 30. For what it’s worth, the other customers seemed pretty happy here, which is why I’m giving this two stars instead of one.

This place is more then a Barber shop… this is like a family the Barber tech’s seem like there all family and there’s no drama. When you walk inside you feel the Joy and peace … I love this. Premium cut is a absolute Great fit for Anyone looking for a new barber shop to call home. I highly recommend Simeo or Dan!!!

I Love Dana! She is HANDS DOWN THE BEST BARBER I've ever had!! AND I've a few!! She's just a great person. This is a great place to get a hair cut!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I took my foster boys here today for a hair cut on a recommendation from a friend. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was really chill. They played with the boys like they were their own. They kindly answered so many questions that I had and helped me figure out what to do with the boys' hair. An excellent experience, we will be back.

It doesn't get any better than Premium Cutz, I have had a weekly standing appointment with Dana for 8 years. All of the barbers are professional, respectful and the best at their craft. Not to mention the atmosphere is always filled with laughter and jokes. Premium Cutz is also a great place to converse upon current events and find resolutions that fit our communities best. Great shop! in my opinion the best barbershop in Ypsi. Been getting my haircut by Dana for almost 4 years now & always come out the shop with a great experience. The vibe of the shop is as chill as a close knit community & the staff is just as good with their clients. Definitely recommend this place for anybody looking to get a good quality haircut for a fair price. You will definitely have people giving positive feedback on your haircut when you leave the shop.

Hands down this is the best barbershop I have ever been to. They treat you with so much love and respect and you'll always find a great atmosphere of laughs too. Dana keep doing what you do I'm glad to be a client at Premium Cutz.... no other place does it better!!!! 💯
