This was my first visit to DB’s in Wyandotte, and honestly, I wish I’d found them sooner. I’ve lived in Southgate for just over five years and have tried several so-called barbers in the area. In my opinion, DB’s outdoes all of them—and for a lot less money. My hair was down to my collar, and Sue took great care of me. She was professional, welcoming, and very accommodating. I walked out actually looking and feeling like a new man, which doesn’t happen often these days. The entire staff was friendly and made the experience relaxed and comfortable. The shop itself has a strong sports theme, which I really enjoyed—especially since my favorite team, the Wolverines, were front and center. There are a couple of TVs in front of you while the barbers work, plus easygoing conversation that makes the time fly by. I’ve been to places that slap the word “barbershop” on the door and think posters and attitude make up for skill. DB’s proves that a real barbershop is about knowing how to cut hair, keeping up with current styles, and treating customers right. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last.

Great place great prices quick service great place for conversation stopped while I was cutting grass Nextdoor I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be taking my kids as well

I would caution anyone planning to come here, especially with young children, and more so any children with special needs. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely pathetic to talk about special needs children and their parents. The saddest part is they said all this while the customers were still in the restroom and didn’t know it, so everything was heard. When confronted, the cowards denied it. Absolutely pathetic establishment and even worse human beings. Beware

If I could put 10 stars I would. Took my son for his first haircut today and the gentleman that cut his hair was so kind and patient. Not to mention the haircut looks AMAZING even with a crying baby.

Lady was rushing the whole time. 25 mins before closing time, got in there at 4:50 and she was already closing it down. had a whole extra 40 minutes. Even took the scissors from the nice man that was doing it in the first place and started to take over after she got fed up with him taking his time. WHAT? Making smart comments and faces as well. Asked if it looked good after she proceeded to do it herself and rolled her eyes when I made a comment back. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Also didn’t get names because it was super uncomfortable, but i’m sure this has happened before. Still tipped the gentleman because he did a very nice job until he was rushed.

Been going there since it was 3 I's (I think that's what it was) and never had a bad experience. Dan and all the ladies have cut my hair recently, and they're all very nice, down to earth people. I hope they're around for as long as I'm around 👍👍

Came here as my first time getting my haircut by professionals in years. Since I normally do my own. They were amazingly courteous and super inviting. They gave far more service than you get elsewhere at generic haircut places. They make sure you're getting your monies worth and don't make you feel rushed. I highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area.
