My brother and I genuinely enjoy getting our hair cut by Caleb! From the moment we walked in, we loved how quiet and peaceful the atmosphere was (by comparison to multi-barber/client salons). The single-chair "booth" is so unusual and adds a personal touch, and the classy decor creates such a relaxing environment. Caleb is exceptional — not only is he incredibly personable, but he's also a fantastic conversationalist. His attention to detail with the haircut was impeccable, and I could tell he genuinely cares about providing the best experience possible. Overall, it's the laid-back and comfortable ambience of the whole visit that truly makes it special. We highly recommend Caleb and this barbershop — you won’t regret coming here!

We had a great experience getting my 13-year old boy's hair cut at Johnston's Barbershop, by Caleb. The haircut looks so good. Caleb is friendly, and he stopped periodically throughout the cut to make sure that the cut was what my son was looking for. Again, it's a GREAT cut! Exactly what my son wanted.

I had a great experience at Johnstons Barbershop. Caleb is truly a professional barber who clearly knows his craft. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted, and he replicated it perfectly. Before starting, he took the time to discuss the details with me to ensure he fully understood how I wanted my haircut. His attention to detail and skills are amazing. I highly recommend coming to Caleb if you are looking for an amazing haircut.

I had a very positive experience taking my 13 year old son to Johnston's barbershop. Caleb took the time to find out what type of cut he would like and to teach him how to easily style his hair. He was personable, skilled and very professional. My son is typically less than thrilled about getting his hair cut, but Caleb made him feel comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend!

Caleb brings a great deal of knowledge, technique, and thoughtfulness to his craft. He listens closely to what you need, what you like / don’t like, and communicates clearly through the entire process. His space is pretty cool and he’s made a lot of effort to create a luxury experience. In addition to getting my hair cut from Caleb, I’ve also brought my two boys. He’s done excellent work for all of us.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my haircut from Caleb Johnston at his private studio, and I must say, it was an exceptional one-on-one experience. Throughout the appointment, I felt valued as a client and Caleb ensured that every aspect of the haircut met my satisfaction. What sets this experience apart is the exclusivity and personal touch that Caleb provides. There's no staff bustling around, just Caleb and is undivided attention to his clients. The studio was immaculately clean, and I felt comfortable throughout my visit. This was all new for me, but what a great experience. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Hands down the best barber you will find!!! I knew he was good when my 12 year old son came back with the best haircut he had ever received. I cannot explain why it looked so good but I decided to see if Caleb could do the same with me and first cut was sharp! However, what sold me on Caleb, and why I’d recommend him, was when I walked in with a photo of a look I wanted and he replicated it perfectly. He then taught me how to style it and has since suggested other ideas. Every time I see Caleb people are complimenting how good my hair looks. If you have spent years looking for your signature look or simply a sharp cut every time you need to check out Caleb.

Great barber! I've never had a bad experience using Caleb. For years I've searched far and wide for a good barber and Caleb is the epitome. Not only is he good at his trade, but he's also great to chat with. Have you ever had that awkward experience with barbers where you sit in silence trying not to make eye-contact with them? Fret not! Caleb is warm, friendly, and a great conversationalist (but he also will respect your boundaries if you just want to sit in silence). Don't waste your time the way I did - schedule a cut with Caleb and you'll thank me later.
