I love this place it’s the only local place around that kills it everytime! I bring my 14 year old son in. He has very course mixed hair and they do a great job every single time.

Highly recommend! Sana is great, I have been going to her for months now and I’ve never had a bad haircut. I got so many compliments today so I felt it was only right I made a review to shout her out!

My first time at this barber shop. Did not like the experience. First they changed the barber, had to wait tell she was done with a customer. While another one sat in her chair. My hair was not tapered evenly on both sides. One side very noticeable not tapered correctly. Will not go back.

Great experience at gents! Kobe did an amazing job on my son’s hair, GREAT hair cut. All Staff was super helpful and accommodating our first time in their shop. We’ve had some bad luck trying to find a new barber since losing our regular and I’m so happy we found them.

Ricky is the absolute man. He will give you the full barbershop experience. Good people, great conversation, and impeccable haircuts. The whole crew is great and they won’t leave you disappointed. You want your hair cut here, I promise!

I've come here twice now and been cut by Ricky both times, and his work is top notch. I've gone through a few barbers in the area recently and none of them have gotten it quite right, until I went to Gent's. Ricky knew exactly what I wanted and gave me a phenomenal cut both times. You can tell he is passionate about his work thanks to his attention to detail. It did not feel like he was just cutting my hair, it felt like he was sculpting it to my head. I will not go anywhere else moving forward.

Was looking for a new barber in the Downriver area for my 9 year old son and came across Gent's. After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to book with Ricky and I am SO GLAD I did!! He was so nice, friendly and cut my son's hair exactly like he wanted. He explained everything that he was doing through the whole cut and checked in on how he liked it through the process. He chatted with him the whole time, did a perfect cut and made the whole haircut an awesome experience! Thank you so much Ricky and he can't wait to come back for his next cut!

Just had an amazing visit to Gents Barbershop! Zach hooked me up with an impeccable taper, and the laid-back atmosphere made the experience even better. The hot towel treatment was phenomenal. Can't wait for my next appointment!
