Super ghetto barbershop. wont greet you when you walk in. Blasts rap music so you can barely hear. Barber will stop cutting your hair 30 times in the middle of your cut to to talk to his friends. Also booked an appointment and waited 45 minutes till after the appointment to actually get the cut. If you value your time and money and you tip well like me, dont come here. they really dont care if you do

The shop has a great vibe, the barbers actually listen to what you want, and they take their time instead of rushing you out of the chair. Five stars as soon as you walk in!! As a first time customer, they immediately treated me like I had been going there since day one! Amazing staff and service. This was my first hair cut since having a hair transplant, and I was extremely nervous, someone recommended these guys. I couldn’t be happier with how I was treated and with how much care they took knowing how nervous I was. Stew took great care of me and really did an amazing job. I can honestly say they have a customer for life, can’t wait to go back, thanks to everyone at the shop!!!!!!!

Shoutout to 223 barbershop! My barber is Matt, I am grateful to have found a great barber at a great shop. I moved from out of state recently and struggled to find a good barber for months. Now I will never going anywhere else, Matt goes the extra mile to make sure his clients are 100% happy with their cut. He provides a comfortable atmosphere and gives great advice on styles and has the skills to do it all! He’s one of the best barbers I have ever come across. I call him my barber but I also consider him a friend. Every haircut is a great experience!

Matt and Stew at 223 Barbershop are top-notch! Every time I come in, they make the experience easy, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re looking for a barber who actually listens and knows how to deliver exactly what you ask for, go see Matt at 223 Barber House. Every cut I’ve gotten from him has been spot on clean fades, crispy lineups and consistent every single time. You can tell he’s got real skill and pride in what he does. He takes his time to make sure everything looks perfect, and the conversation’s always easy too just a good vibe all around. The shop itself is top-notch always clean and professional with a chill atmosphere. Bert, the owner, clearly knows how to run a great barbershop and has built a solid team. But Matt is the guy that keeps me coming back as I’ve been a loyal client for almost 5 years ever since he started cutting hair. Highly recommend him if you want a sharp cut and someone who genuinely cares about his profession.

Been going to Matt for years he’s an amazing Barber, he always takes his time and I always hop out the chair looking refreshed and clean, his attention to detail is what makes the cuts look so smooth. 223 Barber House is one of the best if not the best barber shops you can go to in the metro Detroit area. Been coming to the owner Albert for years. He is the best in the state. If he is too busy , he makes sure any other barber in the shop takes care of me. They are all great and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a real men’s haircut!!!
