Alex and the team are fantastic! Alex has been cutting hair for nearly six decades, and it shows in his precision and confidence. He’s especially skilled at layering and correcting tricky growth patterns and hair whorls that most barbers struggle with. On top of that, he’s personable, quick-witted, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. And the straight-razor neckline cleanup? Absolute perfection.

Amanda is THE BEST! I've been bringing my family to her for YEARS! She is very skilled and knowledgeable and kind! She has cut my kids hair for a regular cleanup cut and for special occasions. Amanda is definitely the best we have ever found! I HIGHLY recommend her!! 10 stars if I could!!

I just wanted to stop by and give a huge thank you to the barber Amanda! I went in so full of grey and honestly not feeling like my pretty self, but by the time she was done it was amazing and we were already talking of what I wanted to do next! She was amazing! Always a great experience. Myself being Bald Amanda gives a great straight razor head shave and my severely disabled son is not the easiest to deal with. Doesn’t like things around his head and somehow she pulls off a great haircut for him every time! Definitely would recommend her!

My son and I both get our hair cut here! Amanda is the best! There is never a long wait like at other shops. We are always in and out. Would definitely recommend.

Both my son and I go to Cardinal to see Amanda. She very friendly and cuts our hair exactly how we ask her to. Both my son and I have had several hairstyles over the years and Amanda is able to accommodate what ever style we ask her to! She’s a great barber and I cannot recommend her enough!

## Barber Shop Review: Disappointed by Billing Practices My recent visit to Cardinal Barbershop of Livonia was mixed, but ultimately very disappointing due to their billing. The positive aspect is that the older gentleman with black hair did a decent job with my haircut. The style was a number-one fade and I was initially satisfied with the result. However, I was extremely disappointed and felt overcharged and misled when it came time to pay. The advertised price for a standard cut is $20, but I was charged $25. When I questioned the price difference, the explanation I received about was unclear and felt manipulative. There was no communication *before* the service that any add-ons or upcharges would apply, and I was never asked if I wanted a service beyond the standard cut. Customers deserve upfront and transparent pricing. Being surprised with an unexpected upcharge at the register is a poor business practice. While the service was good, the dishonest billing overshadows the quality of the cut. I cannot recommend this shop until they ensure their pricing is clear and honest with all clients. **Rating:** 2 out of 5 Stars **Reason:** Quality haircut marred by deception. I would like my five bucks back please.

Alex has been cutting my husbands and sons hair for over 20 years. He is always amazing. He was a very known and respected barber in Soviet Union. He has trained hundreds of barbers. He owned several businesses and won many awards for his work in the hair industry. Can’t beat the amazing customer service and prices anywhere. We feel honored to have him as our barber. None of the other stylists have as much education, knowledge and experience as Alex. We appreciate his honesty and dedication.

I was on a walk of Redford today, so I set out to get my hair styled. I received a great lineup from Megan ( I didn't ask how to spell it, sorry) at Cardinal Barber Shop. It was affordable. She was always asking for my input on the line and suggested another stylist for my perm that I'm planning in the future. What a wonderful time I had here! They let me in the bathroom before I even paid , they're trusting people 😅🤣 Will be back for more hair care! They listened to what I had to say about my hair and worked with me to make me look my best! Definitely stop by!
