As a few others said, its slightly better than great clips but not by much. The barber was friendly, but the "hot towels" were room temp to cold, and the razor shave left stubble and blood marks. I typically wouldn't say anything, but you cant be charging big dollars for average work. I definitely would not be getting a razor shave here if your intrested. And I paid enough to nit pick this

I got my haircut today for the first time in months and was excited because I've heard good things about this place, my partner used to exclusively go here for their cuts and was always happy. I told the person (never got their name) who was doing my hair specifically what I wanted, not once did I face the mirror to see what was going on, I kept repeating and she kept acknowledging what I was saying. When I finally saw my hair it was ok. Not what I was expecting but ok, I thought maybe a wash at home would help. No, it's far from what I was expecting and I'm pretty disappointed.

I just got married Saturday, amd decided I wanted to start my day off at the barbor shop. The staff was able to accommodate myself, all the groomsmen, and the father of the groom and bride. We all had a great time. Tony is a great barbor. I highly recommend this place. Nothing but great experiences.

We love Detroit Barber Co, the GP location is the one we go to. My son was 5 at the time and I decided we needed to find a closer option for hair cuts, one that he would feel comfortable going to as a tween and teen too. The ability to book online, with a plethora of availability and Barbers to choose from was a huge plus. We went with Alia from the get go and never looked back! We've been a very happy repeat customer for 2 years now. I've even gotten my husband to do a men's facial/ beard trim with her now too! Thank you Alia and Detroit Barber!

DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot possibly imagine a worse haircut. It is so bad that I feel like it was on purpose. I’m from out of town and I told them it was for my wedding and I think I got pranked. It makes me sick to look at the picture. I told him I wanted my undercut (that I already had!) cleaned up and the line well defined and sharp but I got the exact opposite. I’ve seen better work at a dog groomer. The price isn’t cheap either, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This place is either a joke or a sham. I think his name was Stanley but I’m not sure. Best just to avoid it all together.

Got a hair cut yesterday, I don’t typically write reviews but had to express my dissatisfaction. The lady left the “powder” on my ear, I did not notice and walked around with it. Then after showering I noticed she missed many hairs around both of my ears and on the side of head so I had to touch it up myself. Overall for a 45$ haircut plus $14 tip (she was nice), not impressed.
