My haircut was okay. The staff were quite unwelcoming and rude, however. They told me it was okay that I was a walk-in and took me back after waiting 20 minutes, but then made comments when there was an appointment who was there who had to wait because I was taken back. I'd prefer just to be told "appointment-only" versus being made to feel bad and having my haircut rushed. Also my hair-cutter argued with me when I asked if she would use a razor on my head since I was getting a high skin fade. This was after she said she was finished.. She argued that her electric razor was the same thing. When I saw a shadow on my head and felt the back of my head and felt prickly stubble, I said I didn't think a razor would leave that much stubble. She said it was because she didn't use the bald fade electric razor all around my head, so that's why it didn't work. 1) I have used electric shavors and they are objectively not as good as a straight blade, so I don't know why you'd argue that with me during the haircut and 2) why would you say you're done with the haircut when you didn't use the electric bald fade all around my head!! Won't be coming back here, unfortunately. I did tip handsomely for them taking me as a walk-in but was overall displeased with the experience.

I went to this place Wednesday and this was my second time being here and I’m not sure of the lady I had cut my hair but I showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and she did not fade my hair at all so it looks bad in the back. Not sure if I would come here often.

After many failed attempts at getting my teens hair cut and permed at another local shop, Theresa at Lather did an amazing job at a very fair price. The process was not only quicker and half the price, but his hair looks amazing. They also squeezed him him during the holiday week. Will absolutely be back.

My 85 year old father goes here to get his hair cut .💇‍♂️he has theresa cut his hair he really like how she cut his hair .very nice and clean barbershop ladies are always so nice.

For about a year now, Cass has taken me from a Midwest 5 to a solid 6, and I'm grateful for that. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time, and my cuts are never rushed. The atmosphere is fun and irreverent; staff and clientele are very nice and fun. They also do charity work, and have a nice selection of products for hair and beards.

Unfortunately cannot give this place my business going forward. Had an appointment for my son, but was held up at my daughters school unexpectedly & had no service at the school as most parents know & called immediately upon leaving and having service, about 20mins late, to apologize for having to cancel/miss. Been a customer many times before, tip good & have never missed/canceled. I explained the situation to the woman on the phone & upon hanging up received a text invoice for $20. It's just not good business practice in my opinion and I would be aware before making an appointment here is all. Life happens and empathy would nice.

Was in the area at a local store and saw this cute barber shop. My son needed a hair trim but had held off for a long time because of bad past experiences with having too much cut off. We love supporting local businesses, so we decided to give them a shot. The ladies were very welcoming and accommodated a 'walk in' even though busy. The decor and atmosphere were unique, festive, and fun. Their front shelves in the waiting area were doned with nice male styling products and a fridge with cold beer, soda, and even drinks for kids. The hairstylist was very kind and listened to what my son was asking for. He was not disappointed. She actually gave him just a trim and even gave him pointers on hair care for his long locks. She even styled his hair in a braid for no extra cost. Decently priced at only $15. A must try for guys if you need a haircut or trim. We will definitely be returning for his next trim.

Just got this done today. I picked the place based on photos (on their instagram) because it looked like they did awesome fades. For $22 and then a tip it was well worth the price. I will be going back for my next cut. Thank you guys!
