You find a good thing and you kinda just stick with it. Now the lovely ms by the name Katura, shes the loctician. And the one you want if i may add. If i cant get in the place - i dont go anywhere. I dont get rando cuts from no body but these gentlemen, almost every dude in there done cut me up before (d is my current barber) but i would never feel that comfortable with anyone else

Update: Went back today for a cut... another great experience! Professional, clean and fast! My sons cut is great! Took my son in here for his first professional haircut... a last minute hair cut at that! They accepted us 20mins before close and were very welcoming! The barber did just what i asked for even when I realized I didn't state what I wanted that clearly half way through the cut! My son fidgeted a lot during his time in the chair and his cut still looks amazing! Would recommend!

Talented guys, but very, very, very unprofessional. The conversations that go in on this place are disrespectful to women and children. They don't care as if you aren't standing right there. My son's innocence was tampered with and it's not acceptable. And the price is very high for kids. You all could do and be so much more in life but choose to be statistics.

Nice Guys. Good and patient with little children. But professional No! Once I went in with my grandson they were watching Power,( rated R, not suitable for children) with a lot of profanity and sex. They were commenting on the movie, like most people do, but wit profanity. Remember little ones are in there. There not setting a good example on how to speak in front of a lady. The Last Straw So I was off one Monday and Rodney's Barbershop was open. When most barbershops are closed. There was one customer waiting in the waiting area and there's weren't any customers receiving service. 5 barbers ( let's not include the one eating lunch, acceptable) so 4 barbers playing cards for money. One tells me is is about a 5 min wait so that they can finish their all employee "gambling meeting". Wow!!!! Profanity and Gambling Not a good atmosphere for my grandson or any small child. Not Professional at all.

I’ve been coming here off and on for years. Still ran by the same owner. A very clean shop that does really well when cutting kids hair. I have two boys ages 2 and 3 yrs old. Would recommend this barber shop to anyone.

The shop is nice and about as professional as you can get when it comes to barbershops. The owner is VERY talented and there are several other very talented barbers there. But let’s get to the 1 star... I took my son in on Sunday, after church and he was butchered by SAM. I’m bad with names but he kept telling me his name as if I would ever let him cut my child’s hair again. He cut his forehead up! My son had a bloody lump on his head after the haircut and he claimed that it must’ve been a bump there or maybe an ingrown hair or a blackhead and he proceeded to squeeze it. My son was in tears! On top of that, he charges $15. I will go back to the shop in the future but I wouldn’t allow Sam to sweep the floors in my shop. He must be an in law that Rodney had to hire. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Beware of Sam! He’ll be the one that’s open, without clientele!

Very talented young barbers doing their thing! Its a very friendly, and modern environment. I love the Detroit sports teams theme in the shop. The barbers know what they're doing!!! I plan on this being the new barbershop for my son. Great job guys.

This shop is completely unprofessional. We tried several times to get good service but have failed each time. The owner Rodney does not do things in order and does not run the shop as he should. He has long waits and takes several breaks. He lets people go in front of people based on friendship status. Most recently my son was the third one there before the shop even opened. Stood I’m the Rain to wait and wasn’t serviced in that order. 3 hours later and 6 people later his hair still wasn’t cut. When I asked the barber why he said “ oh, my homie and his kids walked in” that’s unacceptable! To add to that I was offered to buy drugs (weed) upon my visit! Nuts right? Won’t ever be back!
