Worst cut ever only 2 barbers, one is old the other young the young one he rushed my cut and left patches only took 7 mins on my head and he rushed there is nothing but old men that go here and there regulars so this is a terrible place to go to if you want your hair cut I they only do old men and when I went to the bathroom they young act like he wanted to follow me in there not a good place to go at all I had to come home and cut the spots he missed myself he never combed my hair once, the shop was dirty and smelled and the guy do not disinfect his clippers at all 😡. All the good comments are old and out of date

This barbershop is an "experience" in the best way! Mr. Whitlow is a treasure trove of Detroit history and a wonderful barber. The conversation was uplifting and informative with the other patrons as well. My haircut looks amazing too!!!

My dad has been coming to see Whitlow since he came up here from TN as a teenager, now the next gen comes here to get cut

Charged me $20 for each hair cuts of my two boys. And when I said I wanted the haircut to be a little shorter he got mad. Lost me as a customer.

Very professional, didn't have a long wait. Made an appointment for my teenage son was able to get in on the same day. The cut was done with precision and style. My son and I were very happy with the results.

Been coming to this barbershop since 1992! My man Frank Stoner retired in 2020 but still come and show Mr. Whitlow my love and support ❤ R.I.P 🙏🏾 Trish and Mary! Two of the best females barbers ever.

Great place for a haircut and a good conversation. Mr. Whitlow was mentored by Raymond Parks, Rosa Parks husband. He contributes to the community and is a mentor to young men who visit the shop. I appreciate his work and his person.
