I got my haircut done by Michelle, she took great care of my uneven hair, she also advised me to what to do for my hair and its working wonders, I sat down after I was done and a had a great conversation with her and another gentleman Jason. I will surey recommend it and will be back.

Absolutely loved my haircut, possibly the best one I've ever had. And Crystal is amazingly friendly and it truly felt like catching up with an old friend. For sure will be back, kinda wish my hair grew faster so I can go back and see her sooner.

Lady was kinda rude about scheduling a appointment, then had a condescending tone about the price of services. Im assuming it was because of how i was dressed, but the place down the street was more than happy to accommodate. Shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

I can assure you it had nothing to do with your clothing or appearance, considering our line of business, and everything to do with us having appointments already in the book for the day. While I understand you may have needed it right then, I do believe that you were asked if you’d like to make one for another day. Honestly one of the best haircuts and experiences I've ever had. Crystal is incredibly thorough and very friendly and fun to talk to. It was like catching up with an old friend. Kinda wish my hair grew faster because I can't wait to go back.

Michele cut my 38 year old son's hair, it may possibly be the best cut he ever had!!! I highly recommend Gentleman First! The place is also very cute, comfortable, and homey.

Just had my haircut at gentlemen’s first for the first time and I can’t say enough about this place. Crystal was my barber and did an amazing job. I had an idea of how I wanted it to look but left the details to her and was not disappointed. Small, intimate setting, orders are taken on a rotary phone and written down in an appointment book that would have made my grandfather proud. This place is legit, go there.

Great place to get a quality haircut at fair prices. Great staff: Erica knows how to consistently give a quality haircut. Decor is geared to men and very comfortable. For some reason this shows as a two star review should be a five star review.

(2013) I won't go anywhere else, best hair cuts for men in the metro area. (2017) Still going here, even though I live in Westland. Absolutely love the service, I walk in for my appointment and Erica knows exactly how to cut my hair (and does a great job on my curly hair) (2019) Still here, still Loving the service! If you're looking for a place to get personalized service, look no further.

Got a great haircut at a decent price in an ambiance that definitely tries to cater to gentleman ( in that it does seem like an old gentleman's club, for better or worse). The main thing is that the barbers there listen to what you want, and will take the time necessary to do it exactly as you want. I highly recommend Crystal.
