The ladies are very friendly and do a great job. I've been going here for almost three years and have had only positive experiences. I highly recommend them.

Great place for a haircut usually not too long of a line. The staff is very friendly the atmosphere is very casual and they give a great haircut. If you can ask for Sue.

Tiny place. Enter through the rear. Clean. Smells like an old time barber shop. Linda cut my hair and did an excellent job. It was perfect. I've been getting compliments on it all week. Prices are very good. Senior citizen friendly.

Great place for a haircut or shave. The staff is very friendly price is very reasonable they only recently were slightly raised after over 10 years. Have been frequently in there for over 10 years and have never been disappointed.

So, my barber of 20 years retired without even a " Thanks for your business"! While looking for a new barber, happened upon Buck's. First impression upon walking in was...what a dive! Place was not exactly what I was used to. Seemed dark and dingy. Also very humid inside with kind of a musty smell! Figured I would give it a try since I was already there. After about 20 minutes, the place started to get busy, went on a Saturday arriving just before they opened. Already several people waiting! My turn came and after the cut (I get a #1 blade shave, so not terribly difficult) I was pleased with the cut. Ladies working were nice and talkative. If you can get by the old looks of the place, you may be surprised at the quality if the haircut! I would go back.

This place is a hole-in-the-wall, and not in a good way. I needed a new place to get a haircut after Great Clips finally messed up my hair, and I decided to a place nearby in the neighborhood. This was the closest and the reviews were good, so I made it my first place to try. Upon arrival, it was extremely unclear where to park, with some random signs saying "reserved for beauty shop" but the only buildings bordering the parking are the auto-body place and this barber. I went around to the main door only to be greeted with a sign saying to go to the back entrance. When I went inside, it was a sight to behold. Actually, it was difficult at first because my glasses fogged up due to the cold weather outside, so after not being greeted by either of the ladies cutting hair, I found a dingy old cushioned seat to sit in until my glasses cleared and I could look around. Once I did, I was appalled; the place was dingy and gross looking, with each "station" cluttered with junk and all of the hair cutting tools just strewn about. It seemed extremely unhygienic. I sat for a few minutes continuing to look around, yet none of the other clientele seemed to be as disturbed as me. The sign said $12 for a haircut and the price would be increasing $2 on 3/1/2018. After those few minutes I couldn't take it any longer and got up and left. For such a destitute looking exterior to the building, you'd think they'd do what they could to make it look extra inviting inside. I booked it over to Gentleman's Barber on Pelham when they opened at 9am and I was extremely pleased with the service I got over there. $10 for a cut from the owner, who was extremely inviting and spent a good deal of time making sure we got my hair cut just the way I like it, plus he uses a straight-edge to trim around the ears and back of the neck; I've never had such great service before! I'd avoid this place like the plague if you enjoy getting your hair cut in a clean, friendly, and inviting atmosphere.

I can tell you one thing, ever since my grandfather took me to get my first haircut here when I was 11, I fell in love with the way the barber shop treated me and my grandpa, I'm now 27 and haven't wanted to change once, all 3 ladies in that shop are amazing and cut my hair perfectly each time that do it. If your looking for a quick, great haircut at a cheap price with a good conversation, then stop no further. This shop should be the gold standard to how all shops are run.
