I bought flat irons from here with the whole wire cut. And when I called to ask for exchange he claimed I didn’t buy them like this and that they can’t do an exchange when I done it before I didn’t even ask or want a refund I just needed some flat irons. And I needed them to do my hair for this weekend.

I gave this store a lot of business due to it's the only beauty supply in the area near my home. I stopped going to this store during the pandemic because I bought hair in the wrong color, by mistake. When I tried to exchange it and or get a refund it wasn't allowed. So now I go to a beauty supply on my way home from work in Detroit. Because my money will spend anywhere. (You have to be careful in respect to how you treat your customers. Not set on keeping today's $ and more focused on future $'s)

I’ve gone to this location a few times and never had any issues. The last time I went in i was nicely greeted by an older gentlemen, but when i went to check out it was a different experience. In the past when I’ve gone here i have never had this cashier before but she was completely rude. Never said Hi when i walked up or asked how i was doing. She just rang up my item and told me my total. She was struggling with the bags for a minute and once she finally got one she put my brush in the bag and completely threw the bag towards me onto the counter. Completely unprofessional! Gave her the benefit of the doubt and didnt say anything to her. Didnt say bye or have a nice day either. Don’t work in customer service if you dont know how to interact with people. Should’ve left the attitude at home!

Walked in on 8/27/21 and there were no customers at register so I said 'excuse me' to get cashier's attention as I needed her to unlock earrings from a case. She never looked at me and just said 'YES? like I was bothering her!!! Her tone was just rude as hell. No customer service skills in the least!! Then she just went and sat down like I wasn't even standing there!! BEYOND RUDE!! THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS AND THE CASHIER NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!!!

It was my first time EVER in this store, I was hoping to find a hair piece, I had some questions because I was unsure of what to purchase, I was looking through the wig section, I seen no one around so I picked up the mannican with the wig on it, making my way to the front to ask about it, a white lady with short brown hair asks me in a VERY RUDE tone "can I help you". I then proceeded to ask questions about a wig and she was very rude the whole time. I was upset and wanted to find someone else to help me, so I went to the front counter to ask the girl at the register a question, I seen she was busy , so I told her, I have a question so I'll wait until your done helping your customers first, she was MEAN, AND RUDE. Saying "oh it's gunna be a min, and there's other ppl who work in the store, I can't help you. " so rude, I will never come back here, ever. I have never been treated so poorly walking into a store as a paying customer, ever. The gentleman at the end who helped me was very nice and pleasant in trying to help. . If I could give a negative 5 stars I would.

Been shopping with them a few years now. The new location is well appointed and has it all. I even found a couple of really cute blinged out baseball caps for those bad hair days! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable

Best beauty supply EVER. They have everything and I really big selection of wigs and good weave and the staff and owners are so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend checking this place out. They even have this program for discounts for reoccurring customers. Oh also the amount of lashes they have is insaneeeee!

I've been going here for years (when they were at their old location just north of 16 mile) and I love them! Even before they expanded their selection was great. I wasnt able to make it in for around 7 months, and when I came back they remembered me and asked me where I'd been!! They have an amazing selection of dyes and wigs, and tons of hair/stylist accessories. And the makeup section is to DIE for! Not to mention they have some brands of braiding hair for less than $4 so you can STOCK UP!

Let me first start off by saying how excited I was to have a beauty supply store so close to my house. It's very clean, organized and well stocked. The first couple of times I went I found the man I believe to be the store owner very kind and appreciative of my business. The last couple of times I have found him to be suspicious, especially on today. One of the things I don't like about this store is that they have a "security guard" who walks around asking if you need assistance, but it comes across more so that he's ensuring you're not trying to steal anything. Granted, I carry a big bag every time I go there, but I also purchase something every time I'm there, with the exception of one time. Back to the store owner, the only reason I can see him having indifference is because some people of color have either tried or have stolen items from his store. That's unfortunate, but it's not my problem. Yes, I am a black woman but I am not a thief. I am not responsible for what other black people do. What is so sad about many businesses owned by some Asians is that when some of them have bad encounters with black people, every black person whom they encounter afterwards is some how part of the problem. Furthermore, what also frustrates me about some of these Asian business owners is their nastiness and insecurities directed at a race, instead of people who exhibit poor choices. If you don't like black people, if every black person is a suspect upon entry into your business...then perhaps you should consider not having a business in a predominantly black area. Needless to say, I won't be returning back to this store.

Upon walking into this store I was amazed at how they turn the old ABC Warehouse into a beauty supply. I must say that this is absolutely the most amazing beauty supply that I've even visited. The staff is amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. This beauty supply is three times the size of your average beauty supply. Here you can find all of your beauty needs. And OmG, they have the biggest Wig section.
