I’ve been going to Dom for many years now. He’s the best barber I’ve ever had. Be warned: not a kid friendly atmosphere. The music, podcasts, and conversations are heavy on language and it sometimes smells of weed (not sure if it’s an employee or customer) so I take my son elsewhere which is inconvenient. Otherwise, 5 stars

Have to drop a shout out to Dom at Grand River Barber. First off, this barbers “book online” link is very user friendly. I booked an appointment at 3:49pm yesterday for a 4pm haircut and when I arrived at 3:55pm I was greeted by a different barber and asked immediately who I had an appointment with. That alone is enough to bring me back for my next haircut. My first interaction with Dom was very welcoming and he was very attentive to my requests and even offered his expertise opinion about a few things which is greatly appreciated. He worked quick and used many different tools he had to get me a dapper looking haircut. Top notch customer service from everyone. Check this place out if you’re looking for a new barber in Allen Park.

Manny was so gracious to squeeze us in as a walk in not long before the shop closed. My son has no clue what he's wanting ever but with all the direction and no direction at the same time, Manny hooked him up. We will definitely be back!

My sons had very long hair and were ready to go short. I was so nervous, but Manny did exactly what I asked and they look great! They are getting so many compliments!

Made an appointment with Joe for my son and was super excited at how great this place looked. Got there 10-15 minutes early and was asked if they could help us. Explained we had an appointment at 11:30 with Joe and was told he was finishing up with the guy in his chair. Was never greeted by Joe. Sat there until 11:55 and then left because he was still working on the same customer as when we walked in 40 minutes prior. I can understand running a few minutes late but not that bad. Won’t be going back. Also the music they play is INCREDIBLY inappropriate. Not suitable for kids at all.

I was in the area for a military detail and needed a haircut in short notice, I called in to see if I could do a walk-in, they were very flexible and kind of enough to say yes. I highly recommend Sandy, she truly takes the time to ensure she gives you a great haircut. Great people and great vibes here.

It was my first time here and I am definitely coming back! I hate getting my haircut bc I never really know what I want and my hair is thin. Sandy did a great job at talking me through options and cutting my hair in a way that made it fuller. She was very professional and made my anxiety around getting a haircut non existent!

Easily the best place Downriver to get your haircut. The guys are all cool, down to earth, and know their stuff. Dakota is my guy and he never fails to make me look like a million bucks. He is even willing to give me suggestions on how to style my hair and keep it looking nice. Super cool guy, worth every penny I spend here. I think you'll find it's the same for you.

Visited for the first time today. Needles to say they exceeded my expectations. Dakota did a very good job. I have never been happier with my hair and beard. The place has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. I would recommend anyone in the downriver area to visit.
