Good quality service at a reasonable price. But it's 2026 (3rd decade of 21st century) and its unacceptable that they don't take credit cards (cash only)

I've been coming here 20+ years. Best family barbershop around. Customer Service is excellent!!! Especially good with kids. You won't find a better barbershop, I promise you that.

This is the only place I'll take my kids. Now mind you, this is a barber so kids need to be able to stay still and not be wild, but the cuts for them are always quality. Adult cuts are great too!

Great staff, very professional friendly and helpful. And I found out they do straight razor shaves! I made an appointment to get one Friday. Can't wait. Shop was super clean and comfortable also. Definitely recommend Bob's barber shop

Mike is the BEST! He has been cutting my husband’s hair for years and now my son. He is so gentle and good with my kids, he treats my son and daughter like family. The other barbers are also great. My son gets excited to see Mr. Frankie & Mr. Doug too. Will forever go to and recommend Bob’s Barber Shop!

I've been going to Bob's sporadically for over 25 years, but sitting with Shaun 2-3 times a month for the past, 3 years. Shaun delivers consistency and reliability everytime. Great fades, good blend, nothing ever looks "drastic". Get there early, every barber seems to have a great returning customer base, which is the only review you need. I pass about 4 to 5 shops on the way to make it to Bob's. Never disappointed.

Any other day I would rate them a 5 start ... But just because of Yesterday's experience I am going to give them a 3 star 🌟 rating and I probably should have spoken to the owner but I was just so MAD!!! I randomly walked into this shop about 2 years ago maybe. It's clean!! staff is friendly! Service is up to par...... I have type 3a-3c curly hair when it's wet and type 2a hair when it's straight! I have never had any Problems with then cutting my Hair up until yesterday 😒!! I couldn't decide if I wanted to grow my hair out or go short . So short I went with. I ALWAYS HAVE A PICTURE OF WHAT I WANT!! Walked in with a Head full of hair only for Doug to Botch it. He then got Mad because I called him out on He then had the audacity to tell me that I CAN go to a salon for someone else to fix my hair because he isn't doing it. Which made me even more mad!!! I typically cut my own hair but I can never get the back right . When I Cut my hair it's sectioned off He just started cutting and kept cutting and cutting until I said let me see what you are doing! When I looked it was a Hott mess! How are you going to get mad when you are being called our for not doing a good job! I'm a paying customer. So yes I have the right to let you know that you're messing in my hair! Someone else had to fix it which I appreciated got home and continued to fix it myself! I'm really mad that I didn't speak to the owner to express my anger ! But one thing is for SURE he will never get to mess in my head again! I'm really mad that I now have to find a new barber shop to go to.!! Thank Doug !

I thought your review could have been a smidge more detailed but anyway... <br>Thank you for recognizing that our shop is not only the best but the cleanest and with prices that beat any other horrible shop in the DMV. And you are welcome for years worth of outstanding service without leaving us a great review. <br><br>This reply serves more of a notice to other clients rather than to rectify the situation since I wasn't given the opportunity to do so. We strive to be the best and at times we will fail, I'm sorry but we are human too. However, two things to take away from this exhausting review is...<br>1. Most people shouldn't attempt to cut their own hair. If y'all were good at it, you wouldn't need us. And at times people will ruin their hair by cutting it themselves and the repair isn't exactly what is desired. That's not the barbers fault.<br>2. Pictures are useful and can give the barber a general idea of what you're looking for but (and it's a BIG but) don't show a barber a picture of Halle Berry when you look more like Marion Berry (he's an old DC mayor worth a Google search). <br><br>I do not know if either of these were the case because you didn't speak to me or offer any complaints to me directly until after you posted your review.<br> We wish you all the best with your life ventures and appreciate the time you took to review 2023 winner of Best Barbershop in Southern MD!

I moved to the area in January of this year and tried another Barber shop and didn't like it so I found Bob's. Stopped in on a Tuesday morning thinking it would be slow. While that wasn't the case, the barbers still moved quickly through their customers so the wait wasn't long. Shaun was my barber. She was fantastic. The cut was quick but didn't miss any spots and cleaned up my head well which is a first. I am always fixing issues discovered after I get home. The prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely be back in the future. Talking to Shaun she brought up a good idea as there was a customer mentioning the barbers skipped them when it got busy. Adding a number system could alleviate that issue and wouldn't cost much overhead. That way no one is missed and decreases the chance of an upset customer. Just my two cents though.
