My bearded needed some major. A friend recommended Dexter for an appointment for an first time client appointment. From their website, I easily scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I enter the shop and was greeted by the aroma of a proper barbershop. I knew then I had come to the right place. Charles met me, seated me in the main chair and offered snacks and sparkling flavored drinks. I wait for a few minutes and Dexter comes in. We talk about my beard care regimen and I show him pictures of the style I want. He helps me pick the right one which suits my face and the preference of keeping my beard long. He then begins the very relaxing process of shaving my head. He gives me tips on what I can do to take better care of my beard, and how look of the beard can be enhanced. Once he finished the single blade head shave (no stubble), he leans the chair back, I close my eyes and listen to his scissors and clippers do their work. I can also smell the amazing aromas of the beard care products. I was in heaven. After completing the work there, he has me stand up, so he can see the full length of the beard and proceeds to trim it evenly across the bottom and gives it a very symmetrical shape. After that, he sat me down and proceeded to put the final touches on an amazing cut. He gave me some additional tips for beard care and asked that I return in a month to check on the recovery process. In every step, Dexter's attention to detail resulted in an excellent looking beard and an amazing shop experience. He listened to me, understood what I wanted and gave me the beard that I wanted. He also went above and beyond with his suggestions about how to take care of my beard in between appointments. I highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about their hair care and looks. First impressions are very important and he delivered. I think I found my barber for life! Thanks Dexter and Charles!

"A Costly Disappointment" Millennium Barber Salon used to be my spot for years, years ago, before moving out of the country. To my dismay, it has changed for the worse. It is no longer the respectable and classy spot it used to be. Today, I had a $75 appointment with Cody that fell short of expectations. My previous visits years ago were better, but this experience was disappointing. The appointment started late without acknowledgment, and the shape-up didn't match my requested specifications. The beard trim was shorter than requested and the lines were uneven. While the shop may work well for others, the service quality and punctuality during my visit didn't justify the premium price point. Based on this experience, I'll be seeking services elsewhere.

Second time coming here, most professional barber shop I've ever been to. Its next level and well worth the price. Corey did an excellent job with my bald fade.

I was thoroughly pleased with my first visit to Millennium Salon. From the moment my foot crossed the threshold, I was treated like a valuable client. Brian gave me the best shampoo I'd ever experienced. Afterwards, Dexter cut my hair and fashioned it into a very sophisticated style. I enjoyed the mannerisms of the barbers; very genteel. The ambiance, the music flowing through the facility and the warm, inviting scent made the place welcoming and comfortable. If you desire a first class experience, Millennium Salon is the place to go. I look forward to my next trip there.

Excellent shop with skilled, personable barbers. I made an appointment online, which was easy and allowed me to pay and tip online. When I arrived a few minutes early, the gentleman scheduled for the appointment was unsure if he would finish his earlier appointment on time so immediately passed me off to another barber. This showed to me that they were working together for the customers' benefit, and I very much appreciated it. Brandon did an amazing job, and I have the best haircut I have ever had. This is my barber shop now in Silver spring.

Millennium Barber Salon provided exceptional customer service. The lounging area was very cozy and they offer refreshments while you wait. Dexter cut my hair with extreme precision and also offered great recommendations. The price is well worth the quality and service. Keep up the great work!

Great place to get a hair cut. Read a Google review about Dexter which is why I went there...I wasn't disappointed. Great customer service too. Will be going back. Edit: I have gone back to this place since the last time. Dexter was booked and so I had another barber, it wasn't as good but it wasn't bad. However the reason I may not be going back to this place is because they changed the reservation process. it can only be done online now (which it was before so i'm not complaining about that) the difference is now you are required to make payment at the time of reservation and even tip at the time of reservation too - the tipping portion is optional but it is STILL ridiculous to be asked to tip for a service BEFORE the service is rendered. The actual payment is NOT optional so you cannot make the reservation without paying. I understand this is probably done to make clients commit to their reservations and their website states that you will get a full refund if the reservation is cancelled BUT getting a haircut is just not a service I want to prepay for!

I can't stress enough how professional this establishment is! From the moment I walked in for the first time being greeted by name, with smiles and greetings from everyone. The atmosphere is phenomenal! I've never experienced this anywhere else, but then again, I can't compare Millennium to a typical Barber Shop. My Master Barber, Dexter, is the one! I've search for at least a year for "the one" (Barber that is) and I've gone to quite a few during this time frame. I won't even go into my experiences, because that will turn into a blog and Google asked for a review. Dexter was a perfect match, his energy, professionalism, knowledge and just his genuine spiritual, are all reasons I won't allow anyone else in my hair. Just a word of wisdom, when you know what you want, keep searching until you find it- you'll know it when you see it. Don't settle!
