My sons were in desperate need of a haircuts today and we had to find a place between Montgomery Mall and UMD. We stumbled across this little hot spot. What a great find. Both will be returning …and we’re from the Annapolis area. Great price, friendly and experienced hair cutters, and a neat old fashioned shop. I’ve been telling everyone. Thanks George’s!

Great service! Great price! Took my son for his haircut since he was 2 years old and now he's 12 years old. I even got a layer bob haircut two months ago and I love it! It's a place that I can depend and always go back to. Cannot complain!

My Dad's been getting his hair cut here for 30+ years, and my brother and I have started going as well. George's Barber Shop is the best around, simple as that. Fair prices and incredible service; everyone is so friendly, and I am grateful to say that this is where I'm going the get my hair cut for the foreseeable future. Thank you!!

Nice, small place with 4 barbers. All the seats were taken and there was a steady flow of customers. I waited a few minutes before getting served, and the barber treated me like I was the only one there! Highly recommend.

This place might be better for men than women. My boyfriend went here before and got a great cut, so I thought it could be good for me. The hairdresser said that she could tell I hadn't gotten my hair cut in a long time (saying something like "oh no cut in a long time"). This made me feel super insecure from the start. I asked for 1 inch with long layers. She cut more than 1 inch and gave me very jagged layers. I pointed out the layers and showed her how to cut them at an even angle. After I tried to correct her a second time, she used a straightener on my hair. I asked her if the cut was done, she said no...I then said "no straightener" but she said no, she needed to keep straightening it. I don't ever straighten my hair so this upset me. I just paid and left as soon as I could and now I'm going to try and fix these layers myself. I don't know if this is how some layers are supposed to look, but I've always asked for long layers and never gotten this. It could be mostly men go there, so maybe they're just better at men's cuts than women's.
