Tiara did a great job with my daughter’s hair. She was very quick and my daughter seemed very comfortable. My only negative feedback is the cleanliness of the salon and music. The bathroom was very dirty and that is difficult for a parent with a young child. Bathroom could benefit from a step stool for kids as well. I will definitely work with tiara again and highly recommend her.

Everyone working there tonight were friendly and respectful. Mr. Steve was awesome. We came in towards the end of the day and he so graciously took my 2 little boys with no complaint. He was kind and patient and did a wonderful job on they’re cuts. Me, my boys and my HUSBAND were very impressed. We will definitely be back for future cuts!

I called to schedule an appointment for the next day and the salon was able to accommodate the request. Tiara was great and she had creative styles in mind. She was on time and very open to my suggestions. The salon was very kid friendly and they were very accommodating with the children there.

I scheduled a 5:00 p.m. appointment for my daughter with this salon for today. I called at 4:52 to ask if my daughter arriving at 5:05 p.m. would be a problem. Since I am pregnant and this is our first time at the location. We would need time to figure out where it is. Instead of being accommodating for five minutes for new customers they asked me to reschedule and cancel my appointment. A little bit more accommodations for new clients could have gone along way. They could have offer directions on how to get there easier, instead nothing. Please don’t go to this location.

Wonderful staff. My 4 year old granddaughter was apprehensive at first because it was her first salon experience, but the staff made her very comfortable and allowed me to hold her hand the whole time. And they seem to understand child-speak; my grandchild asked for "rainbow hair " and she got multi-colored strings tied to her braids! She LOVED it! I'm just sorry that they discontinued the mani and pedi services; they should update their website in that regard

Great job at making my daughter feel comfortable. Aminata is very kind and caring. My daughter wont let anyone else do her hair now. Every request has been granted with perfection and style. 5/1/21 - Our daughter has been going to Aminata for over two years. Great work by gentle and caring hands. Aminata adds little surprises that my daughter loves.

Staff is amazing veer accommodating.My barber and original braider were no where to be found, i was in need called the shop Aaliyah worked me in the schedule, Sabrina hooked me up and the barber stayed late until she finished my hair to complete my look. Highly recommend them 👌🏽

I got my grandbaby and my hair done. Starts off slow so the. Stylist can arrive get things together then their off. Children get first dib. They are no longer in the Wheaton Mall but now at 2511 W. University Blvd

I took my daughter to get her hair done just to try out a new spot since her regular lady was out of town. Our appointment was at 10 am our person didnt get there until 10 minutes to 11am. Not all he staff spoke and greeted customers which I found rude. There was no-one to sign us in when we got there. The stylist did a great style even though she was late.

I’ve been looking for a salon that’s more kid-friendly for my 5 year old daughter. I made an appointment for yesterday based upon the good reviews. Gabbi did my daughter’s hair and did not disappoint! My daughter is SUPER tender-headed but did extremely well with Gabbi. Her hair was very cute and exactly how we requested. My daughter came home happy and said she wanted to go again. Thank you Gabbi for an amazing job! We’ll definitely be back.
