Salon quality cuts at friendly family barbershop prices (and no frills) - Rose is my favorite hair cutter, and she's beautifully replicated that winner haircut from a pricey downtown salon for years, and I always enjoy my conversations with her.

Service is first come, first served. I walked in without an appointment and the wait wasn't too long (~30 min waiting for the current client to finish). There is parking in front, but I recommend parking at North Four Corners Local Park for more space. I had very long, thick hair and asked for short hair. Price: $50 + Tip. Overall, a good first experience, and I hope to come again. ☺️ Thank you Ms. Rose!

~ ~ Rose has been cutting my long and fast-growing red hair for almost a decade! She and Tony are always welcoming and willing to see me for any call or walk-in, which is greatly appreciated ~ ~ What they offer: • Quick and timely service. • $ is fair and affordable. • Family—vibe type of atmosphere. This place was random and wonderful. It was a barbershop inside of the house on a busy street. I was a little hesitant to go in. I worried that I would be interrupting in a family’s lunch. But indeed, the interior was 100% barbershop. The barber was very good at her job and had a fun personality. I will definitely be going back.

We love Mrs. Rose. I’ve been to salons in DC and paid an arm and a leg to get a mediocre haircut. This place is a gem and I’m shocked more people don’t go here. Mrs Rose cuts both my hair and my husband’s hair and does a fantastic job with both. Come get a fantastic haircut from a seasoned pro. When we moved to the area I found out about the shop and will never go somewhere else.

Have been going to Rose and Tony for years and I take my parents and kids too. My hair looks great, the service is great and they’re very affordable. Kids will enjoy the playful banter and lollipops.

Rose is incredible with little kids! My two year old is usually hysterical and scared at haircuts. He went right to Rose and gave her a hug and let her cut his hair sitting by himself for the first time ever. Highly recommend this calm environment for a toddler haircut!! Thank you, Rose!

I've been going here for at least three years and Rose always does a great job. I also take my kids here. We have a mix of hair types (curly, straight, and wavy) and we always look fantastic when we leave. The prices are extremely reasonable, by far the least expensive in the area that I've found, and there is usually no wait time.

A hidden gem in Silver Spring. Rose is great. Services are affordable. It's easy to miss from University Blvd so pay attention. No appointments needed. Call in before you go. However, be patient regarding communication.
