I had a great experience at Traville Barber Shop! The barber was very professional, detail-oriented, and made sure my haircut was exactly how I wanted it. The fade was clean and sharp, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, and everything was clean and well organized. You can tell they really care about quality and customer satisfaction. Highly recommend Traville Barber Shop if you’re looking for a fresh, professional cut. I’ll definitely be back!

Great and Friendly Staff! I have known some since I was 10 years old. I even live farther away now and I still go there.

Sometimes barbers try and don’t do well. Other times, they don’t listen or don’t understand and do a poor job. In this case, my son and I researched the exact style and gave very specific instructions for a very common hairstyle—low-fade with shape-up with number 1 on sides. She went ahead and started shaving high and tight. I stopped her and said it was a low fade and pointed in case she had trouble with English. She still continued to chop the hair off everywhere, leaving a patch on top. The haircut was so egregious that I suspect the stylist simply knows one style for this type of hair and cannot adjust. The haircut was also uneven. The price is good at $22 but I will never go there again.

The shop owner passed away this past spring, but his granddaughter is running it now and she, like the rest of the staff, all are good barbers, fairly priced. The shop is very clean.

The price is fair, but the skills could be improved more. After washing my hair, I noticed that the left side mismatched with the right side. The barber set a higher line for the right side... and she cut my top too much. I have a wider jaw, which needs some more hair on the top to style for a decent overall appearance. The barber completely ignored the knowing factors... What bothers me more is she cut too much hair off on my right side, where now I'm living with a bald spot on the right... Overall, if you just want an oki haircut, you can try this shop a shot.

Lucy is my Barber she is outstanding and gives me a superb haircut. Gave her name to a friend, and he said its the best haircut he’s had in years and now his son goes there! I’ve even seen women getting haircuts. Great barbershop 💈

11/08/2024 - price is $23 before tip 11/20/2022 - Nice hair cut. The price is now $19. Don't know if that is in line with other price increases but seems to have gone up considerably in the past year or two.

Clean and very professional place. I've had hair cuts from at least six different people there and they've all been great. Cost seems to run $20-$25 before tip. For a person like me -- man in his early 50s who just wants a simple cut -- it's the perfect place.

I’ve gone to four different people at this shop. Asked for the same haircut each time. Left with a slightly different cut each time. Asked for a fade everytime, never left with a fade. Equipment never seems clean, razor bumps after cuts, hair cuts are always sloppy, no real attention to detail. It’s a $23 hair cut so I know I can’t expect much but a decent cut would be nice. I really gave this place a shot.

You get what you pay for. I recently had a disappointing experience at Traville Barber Shop. The barber seemed rushed, leaving me with a cut on my chin and an incomplete shave. I was shocked to find stray patches in my upper and lower lip areas after getting home. This level of service doesn’t meet basic standards, let alone justify the more than 30% tip I left. Poor attention to detail in personal grooming can be risky. I expected much better from a professional shop and urge management to address this. It’s surprising that this place has some 4/5 star ratings—perhaps I just had the misfortune of getting one of their less experienced barbers (name possibly Bunndi). Based on my experience, the one-star reviews here seem to reflect the genuine quality of service. I can’t recommend Traville Barber Shop.
