My husband found this place when we lived across the street a handful of years ago and he still drives 20 minutes to come here. He raves about Kim’s and won’t go anywhere else! He has thick curly hair and his beard grows in a little patchy. They always do an excellent job with his haircut and shave with a straight razor. They are efficient, precise, and reasonably priced. Thank you for grooming my husband!

I got a hair perm today, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Young, the hair designer, was so friendly and incredibly skilled. They use high-quality products that help prevent damage, and I really appreciated that the products didn’t have a strong smell—I usually hate that, but not here! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I also got my hair highlighted here a while ago, and it still looks beautiful. This place is my favorite salon, and Young is truly the best hair designer ever. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍👍👍

Ms Young did Japanese Hair Straightening Perm on my hair and it turned out fantastic! I'm very happy with the service Ms Young provided. She was kind, professional and friendly! Highly recommend:)

This place has become my go-to for haircuts and perms. Really glad I stopped by here on a whim. Excellent prices and wonderful customer service. Ask for the stylist Young. I tell her I want my hair to look “good” and she has it looking amazing every time. She gets it.

Excellent prices, probably the best in the area, and a really solid haircut. I went to Young for a perm and she did it really well, for a really good price too. Ask for her, you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to update my review of Kim's Barber & Beauty Shop since I have now been going there for 3 years! I have lost count of how many haircuts that is, but each one has been consistently excellent. As I said in my original review, it is a clean and friendly place with impressive attention to detail. The value is terrific. Prior to finding Kim's, I had spent far more on haircuts in the city that did not come out nearly as well. This place is a gem! Original review: I got an excellent haircut at Kim’s Barber & Beauty Shop, and I highly recommend their business. I have curly hair that is difficult to cut well in the best of circumstances and it had grown particularly unruly during the pandemic since I had been reluctant to have it cut. Nevertheless, they really took the time to get it right and it’s the best haircut I have had in a long time! Kim's Barber & Beauty Shop is a very friendly and clean place, and their health precautions put me at ease with respect to the pandemic.

Excellent service at an affordable price. I called in for a last minute appointment on a weekday, and was lucky enough to have Heidi as my hairdresser. She was incredibly warm, even blow drying my head with cool air after I'd been sweating out in the sun! Her cut of my curly, difficult hair was excellent -- even better than the picture I'd showed her. She did a great job fading in the sides with scissors and keeping the top long enough to still curl. All for only $18!
