I cannot recommend highly enough. The new studio is clean and comfortable. Great location on Rockville Pike. Tsehay is friendly, attentive, very professional, and provides great tips for how to style and maintain your hair in between visits to the barbershop.

Tsehay is a wonderful hair stylist who really knows her stuff. In my 34 years I have never had such a positive experience with a barber or salon. She provides top notch quality service. When I arrived she had made sure to warmly greet me while offering a complimentary beverage. I first met her to fix a really bad haircut I received from a newer barber. She listened thoroughly to my complaints and addressed the issue and explained her approach to cutting hair [which I really appreciated]. Thank you for turning this mop head into a professional! Will continue to recommend to friends and family!

This is my first visit to GBG. I love the shop layout, design and overall vibe. My appointment was with Tsehay, and she was delightful. She was very professional, explaining everything that she was doing.She was pleasant and kind, has a great smile. She has an excellent touch with a razor. I was very satisfied, such a relaxing experience. Whatever products she used left my skin very smooth and with a healthy glow. Highly recommend this business!

Had a completely fantastic cut from Tsehay, easily the best consult I've ever had, even though I opted for a simple cut in the end. Sometimes a stylist/barber will give you a blank stare when you ask for advice about what direction to go with your hair, as though they don't think about and interact with it a thousand times as often as you. Not so here, we had a great conversation about my hair's texture and more, helping me make a decision which resulted in a fantastic cut!

Teshay is fantastic, she understands how to cut and style coarse hair. Historically I struggle to find consistent cuts of this caliber. This is the place to go if you are looking for a medium length hair cut!

I don’t leave reviews often, but Teshay deserves one. This was my third visit and she’s been consistent every time. Super professional, fast, great experience, and the cut is clean. I get a taper fade with scissors on top and even with quick photos it looks good. I originally booked this shop because it is on my way home from one of my jobs, but I will keep coming back even if it out of the way. Thanks again, Teshay!

This place truly is the best grooming barbershop! I came to Tsehay twice this year and both times service and result were phenomenal. I especially love the steamed towels and other special details that help relax. Also hands down the best haircuts I’ve received in my adult life. I absolutely recommend this to any man that needs a great haircut or beard trim for a value in Rockville.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jess did such a great job with my son’s haircut today! She was patient, friendly, and really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. My son felt comfortable the entire time, and his haircut came out even better than I expected. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. Highly recommend Jess if you’re looking for someone who’s both skilled and personable!

I'm in between 1 and 2 stars. The location is great and has plenty of parking available. The salon is neat, 20+ small businesses operating in cubicle-style offices. However, the main reason for my visit was of course a haircut. Probably the worst I've had. I usually only spend a fraction of what I paid here and I get a significantly better cut and closer to my request. I saw Teshay (I may have misspelled it, my apologies) I provided a picture as a reference and requested my hair to be just trimmed and "cleaned up" (10 months since my last cut) because *emphasis* I like my hair long... she proceeds to cut off over half its length. She was very kind and perhaps very skilled, unfortunately, my experience and outcome were not so.
