I've been getting haircuts at the PX barber shop for about 10 months. Decided to try out John T's. John T cut my hair. Best haircut I ever had. At PX, they cut your hair fast without attention to detail. John T cut my hair very professionally and even though there were two other guys waiting, he still took his time to make sure I was satisfied with my haircut. No more PX for me.

I visited this barbershop with my 7-year-old son on July 26, 2025, between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. Two staff members (a man and a woman of Asian appearance) were present. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored. No greeting, no offer of service — not even a simple hello. The barber’s attitude changed as soon as he saw us. His smile disappeared, and he barely responded when I asked if my son could get a haircut. My daughter even asked me why the man was so unfriendly. We left feeling uncomfortable and went to another barbershop Parlor Twenty Tree .where we were warmly welcomed. I do not recommend this establishment.

I used to get my hair cut at the PX but switched over to these guys after trying them out. They have much shorter wait times and the haircuts you receive are better. Their barbers are friendly, clearly know what they're doing, and give you the haircut you want. Haircuts are the same price as at the PX. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Absolutely, 100%, the best barber shop you could go to. Pretty cheap given the area we are in. He (John) does an amazing job. He will shave the whole bald part of a skinfade. Nothing but high compliments.

John was extremely precise in every movement he made. I am usually very cautious when it comes to getting my haircut with a someone I haven’t be with before because my hair is usually difficult to cut (Asian) but he knocked it out of the park. Everything felt clean, very respectful and polite. If I lived around here I would come here everytime no doubt. The other barber that was with him also produced expert quality, as I saw his customers walk by. Extremely well priced and probably the best in the area! $18 for a perfect medium skin fade with a razor. Nothing but great things to say! 1000/10

John cut my hair most of the time and he's great for the price, it's cash only they do have an ATM inside but you are charged a fee so better to just take out money before hand, standard cut is $18 only walk in's.

I've been going this location to get a haircut for the last 20+ years. Depending on how many people are there, you may have a good wait, but its worth it. Never had a bad haircut and everyone has always been friendly. Just make sure you have cash, since they don't accept cards here.

John and Tina are great and provide quality cuts every time, but there is a new woman Sharon that you might want to skip trying. She repeated exactly what I asked for to me and then still cut way shorted and higher on my head and, if I didn’t stop her, she would’ve used the straight razor on my whole head which I did not ask for. She also took the cape off too early and continued to cut using clippers, leaving me covered in hair. Sharon is also very rough and the clippers kept catching the skin on my head, and rough with the straight razor too. The skin on my head is already red, puffy, and burning a little just 8 minutes after leaving the shop. Would definitely go back, as I’ve had countless good experiences with Tina and John, too.. just not Sharon.
