I took my son to get a haircut yesterday and it was so short and he said he wanted it to be medium length so today I took him to his summer camp and when I picked him up he was sad because the kids at summer camp made fun of his haircut

I take a close family friend here who is mentally challenged. But he knows what type of hair cut he wants. Bart's is very accompanied for us. When we walk in we normally do not wait long. The gentleman who does his hair is polite, quick and patience. My family member appreciates that and so do I.

The wait for getting a haircut is very quick. I need a haircuts today. The barber did a very good job but like most places I couldn't duplicate making my hair look as good as he did afterwards. But my hair was scraggly and I desperately needed a haircut and this was the right place at the right time. The price was right. And, really it was a very good haircut especially for the price. I would go back there again.

Bart's Barber is my go to place for getting a haircut. Quick service, good haircut, a staple of old Laurel. I've been going since about 2002. I go with my kid and have always been satisfied with the fast and cheap service. Clearly there are regulars that wait for specific stylists, but my son and I don't care. Some of the stylists have been there since I started going there, so it's good to see the consistency. Lends credibility IMO if there's not a lot of turnover in the staff.

Went to Bart's waiting on a haircut, when I was up next the Chinese guy on the end at number 8 said no he don't want to cut my hair. I feel like he was discriminating against me, he had no problem cutting the white guys hair. I'm a African American woman it was very embarrassing for him to act that way in a full service barbershop full of people.

I infrequently get a haircut but when I do, I go here. I actually arrived at 5:52pm and they were still willing to cut my hair and didn't rush through the process. Always a good place to go for great customer service, regardless if you are talkative or not.

I have been here three times, all for the $18 men’s haircut, and all in all it has been a rather inconsistent experience. I was very happy with the results and overall haircut I received from an older Asian gentleman during my first visit to Bart’s. During my second visit I got my haircut from him again, albeit this time around it was not nearly as desirable as my first visit but still close to what I asked for. On my third and latest visit, he was not there but I decided to give one of the other barbers a try and wasn’t exactly happy with the results (sides were cut way higher than I requested with no fading). It should go without saying, but if you happen to find a barber here who understands your desired style and gives you consistent results, stick with them.

This is place is very friendly. Service is walk in only which I love. No appointments, so you know who is really next to be cut. They have usually 5-7 barbers available. Clean, friendly, fast and fair priced. I never leave disappointed. I'd put Laura against any barber in Laurel. Her bare razor cuts are 2 thumbs up. Shapes are very precise. You can tell she enjoys her craft.
