Went in for simple fade and “some” off the top. Got a buzz cut with two different fades on each side. Two uneven line ups. Left side was pushed towards my ear, right side was above eye brow. He cut me in 3 different places and did not say a word. No I’m sorry or oops or my bad. Nothing just kept it moving. I’ve never seen someone work super fast but still take over an hour to finish. When I got up I tried to look in the mirror and keep kept “cleaning his chair” and not letting me see. I was going to take my three boys and two nephews who I watch over but not anymore. Never going back!😡😡😡

Very personable and caring barber! His name is Jay Harley. He is exceptional because he gives excellent attention to details in cutting and trimming my hair, in addition to nose, ear, eye brow and neck hair. When I have not shaved for a day or two, he trims that face hair, too! He always notices what I need. It is very simple to schedule an appointment with Jay. He thoroughly enjoys doing his best for his customers. By the way, he has been cutting my hair for two years. It has been a perfect fit from the start.

Extremely Disappointed I came in with one simple request: “Don’t take my beard line low.” I repeated it six times—literally to the barber in the first chair on the right. My beard was already shaped up just a few days ago by my regular barber (who’s two hours away), so all I needed was a light clean-up. Instead, the barber ignored my request and took my beard line down anyway—and worse, it’s completely uneven. He handed me the mirror after the cut, but by then, the damage was already done. I still paid and left Now I’m left with no choice but to shave it all off, because what was once a strong, defined beard now looks terrible at best. Just horrible

My friend recently visited this barber, and it was an absolute disaster. The barber completely butchered his hair and left 3 BOLD SPOTS on the back of his head. Not to mention, appointment took an hour. I’m honestly not sure how long it will take to grow out what they did. He will not be coming back, and I would advise others to stay away if they care about their hair.

Awesome barbers! I've worked with Christopher, Kaleb, Erik, and (Jordan at the Columbia location). They're both clean shops, very professional, they gives great advice and spends quality time on each client. It's easy to make appointments on line as well. I've been going there for 2 years along with my grandsons.

Worst haircut I ever received Have a birthmark said specifically hair doesn’t grow here don’t cut it too short keep it covered fade the bottom neck and sideburns Now I have to walk around with a skin fade for the next 2 weeks. Stay away from this place!

Both Kaleb and Eric are excellent Barbers. Everyone there is so nice. This is our second time coming. They put in extra time and effort and even go in with a razor to make the marks last. The customer service is exemplary. Everyone is like family.

Sad that the owner is disrespectful to his own kind. I still tipped him $20 cause I felt bad for the man. Chris definitely messed up my hair cut on purpose. He spent 10 minutes on my hair cut. All his employees saw the way he treated me. I hope they realize the kinda person they are working for. So I paid $60 for a 10 minute hair cut. Last thing I want to do is bring down another brother but, you cant run a business disrespecting people. Plus he was talking about how another customer couldn't afford his $40 hair cut in front of me. Maybe he was hinting I couldn't afford his hair cut either. I am very well off, and respectful to any person I come across. Chris couldnt even do my back fade correctly. The other photos are one left and one right for the shape up. Photos never lie. It's a reason you mainly see women taking their kids here. No man will take disrespect for no reason. The fact he sat down and started talking to another customer before doing my hair cut was a huge red flag. Just because you own the business doesn't mean you can give bad service and expect US black folks to continue to support you

I’m not sure how the breakdown in our commitment to quality and excellence to our customers occurred that day FOR YOU, but I can assure you that that is not common practice here at Christopher’s Barber Studios, ESPECIALLY NOT FROM ME. I do appreciate your feedback and will use this as a learning and teaching opportunity.

Had a great first time experience at this barbershop! I booked same day over the phone with Jay and he was professional, welcoming and timely in dealing with me and my son. The entire shop had great customer service! Jay did an excellent job with my teens hair and he is so happy with his cut. I also appreciated the verified appointment texts that I received confirming my appointment, this was definitely a great touch! We'll see you again in a few weeks. Thanks so much!
