I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I clearly explained what I wanted, but the barber did not listen and cut my hair significantly shorter than I asked for. My bangs were cut way too short, the sides are much shorter than requested, and there was no proper fade or blending like I asked for. The result is uneven and not at all the style I described. Haircuts are permanent in the moment — you can’t put hair back once it’s cut — so listening to the client is critical. I did not feel heard, and there was no checking in before taking off so much length. This has left me stuck with a haircut I’m unhappy and uncomfortable with. I hope the shop takes communication more seriously in the future so this doesn’t happen to other clients.

Horrible barbershop. I’m not sure if the barbers cutting even match their licenses on the wall. They dont know how to cut hair at all. The lady went and asked for help multiple times during my hair cut. My face turned into a buzz cut…. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

Reservations only, no English speakers. I don’t mind any of this, just wish it was clearly noted somewhere because I wasted a lot of time just sitting here before someone tried to communicate with me.

Worst barbershop in Gtown!! Absolutely terrible and they talk shit about you in Spanish... some of the barbers aren't even certified to cut.

I drive 40 minutes without traffic when I’m in DC to go here. Betty has the best fade game in the east coast.

This place is the best!! I've been going here for 10 yrs.The shop is very clean and organized. It's Kid friendly!! Everyone that works there is nice and very friendly. My favorite hairstylist is Luz she's amazing at whatever she does (cuts, color, and styling!! NEVER disappoints!!

I recently had a haircut that didn't turn out as I had hoped. I've been a regular customer at this salon and have always been satisfied, but this time, I was quite disappointed with the result. I didn't express my dissatisfaction at the time because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I believe it's important for stylists to pay attention to their customers' preferences and hair type. Towards the end, they also suggested a tip, which left me perplexed considering the outcome of my haircut. I feel quite upset about how my hair looks now, but I haven't brought it up with them directly."

Bad Haircut experience, not only did they push my hairline back but the barber cut me with the straight razor, the cashier then proceeded to overcharge more than the posted regular price, if anything I should've gotten a discount. Despite their good reviews I'd reconsider coming here next time.

Just had an excellent shave and a haircut at a great price at Germantown Barbershop. The shop is far from fancy, but it's fine and not too loud, and I didn't have to wait at about noon on a Thursday. I'll be back!

Needed a fast haircut and just the right place. Did not have to wait long either. the lady who gave me a haircut was very nice and polite. she did a really good job. I recall paying 50-80 bucks for a haircut in a fancy place but this place can do it for .....$20!!! as long as you do not mind the atmosphere which is not bad by any sense. definitely coming back.
