Doesn’t know the difference between a medium fade and a high fade. Spent $20 to look like a boot again.

Very expensive, raised prices $3 to $18.10 in June. Can definitely find better prices off base. They raised prices again in July, now it's $19.70 a haircut. Why? This place is government subsidized. Why do prices need to keep going up, why does a basic haircut cost more than the minimum wage?

Asked for a low fade. Starting 4 inches above my ears, she removed everything below. This is “high”. There was a reason she didn’t show me the back side. Just took a look and horrified. I can’t believe I actually tipped her. I put up with a lot of stuff and don’t ask for much. She was quick (5 min or less… not a good thing, especially on a slow day with no wait) and not gentle. The last time a man used a lot of force too and his blades were dull, ripped hair instead of cutting, got a bad haircut. I dismissed it and tried again- I shouldn’t have. Spend more off post, they suck. My hair will grow back but y’all lost my business.

I got asked what I wanted, said a short skin fade and to leave the top alone, I instead received a high skin fade and a buzzcut up top, despite being asked what I wanted for a cut, not only that I go up to pay and she starts tapping the tip section on the receipt annoyed that I didn’t put anything after this horrendous cut, don’t understand how it was so bad because it was the same lady who gave me a really good haircut a month ago. Never returning

I knew I was in for a rough cut when the lady cutting my hair went 90 miles an hour on my head. ZERO attention to detail, HORRIBLE attempt at a high skin fade, and you made my hairline crooked!!!! I will NEVER come back to this barber shop ever in my time being assigned here at Fort Meade. EVERY SINGLE employee in that shop need to be fired for poor quality.

Asked to go to a specific woman…and one of the men barbers got mad and said I can’t do this. He then said, you can leave then. Plus, I saw the horrible not lined up fade that was just done, so fine with me.

Barber: Kim Asked for a medium fade starting with a .5 and scissors on the top. - Might as well have given a toddler a buzzer and told them to cut everything but the top of my head. - Truly hacking at my head the entire time with zero awareness while my head was bouncing around and being cut up - Buzzer sounded and felt like a weed wacker - 40 seconds in she began convincing me that I wouldn’t need the top cut - at that point I already knew I was trying to get out of there as soon as possible and didn’t want another weapon used on my head - As expected; holds the hand mirror 3 inches from my face while facing away from the wall mirror so I can’t actually see anything about my haircut - all while reminding me the top is fine and there’s no need to cut it. To which I oblige. - paid and didn’t tip Kim: “no nothing!?” Me: “definitely not” Kim: *tells coworker the situation in different language* Kim coworker: while I’m walking away “is he crazy!?l Me: nearly internally combust Should I have been a real human being and just told her that my haircut was bad and what was bad about? Maybe. Jokes aside: this is a true and honest review. Don’t go here or at least don’t get a haircut from Kim.

The worst haircut I’ve had in years. I had a feeling that the barber was messing up my hairline when he was just rushing to give me a tape. Not only is my hairline crooked, he actually pushed it back. My haircut is sooo bad that I’m considering getting clippers and cutting my hair. It’s almost like they hire anybody to work in there.

First haircut was great. Second haircut was the worse I've gotten yet. I asked for a fade, and she cut it all the same length...never again. It was as if she was in a rush to get me in and out. It lasted MAYBE two mins. Didn't go over anything twice. Go pay a little more for a quality haircut elsewhere

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the Fort Meade Barbershop, and I must say it was a complete disaster. The employee who attended to me not only did a poor job cutting my hair, but they also seemed to take back my hairline along with it. It's as if they were on a mission to leave me utterly dissatisfied. The haircut itself was far from what I had envisioned. Instead of a clean and well-defined cut, I ended up with uneven lengths, awkwardly chopped sections, and a hairline that now seems to defy gravity. I walked in with hopes of leaving the shop looking fresh and well-groomed, but I left feeling embarrassed and regretful. I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this barbershop if you care about the way your hair looks. The lack of skill and attention to detail displayed by the employee I encountered was truly disappointing. It's clear that they either lack the proper training or simply don't take their job seriously. Save yourself the frustration and embarrassment by finding a different barbershop that values their customers' appearance and satisfaction. Trust me, you'll be thankful that you didn't subject your hair to the hands of the Fort Meade Barbershop.
