You want a haircut by true professionals, you have to come here. They understand how to cut hair and the prices are great. I will be coming back and bringing my sons! Thanks Joe for the great cut!

Although nice and friendly, I was charged $32 for one haircut, instead of $16. Allow me to explain. I asked for a skin fade at the neckline and around the ears, (Low fade in back and medium fade on sides), but after the fade was complete, I noticed the clippers didn't cut it as close as I'm used to. I then asked if she could try to cut it closer, as discussed supra, but she said her clippers couldn't get any closer. Nonetheless, she tried going over it again, but unfortunately, the clippers were not able to do anything more. In the process, -- the barber Rose -- joked about charging me for two haircuts, but I laughed, since I thought she was simply making conversation, and trying to be funny. However, this proved not to be the case, as I was eventually rang up for two haircuts. totaling $32. Not in the mood to argue, I offered to meet halfway at $24, but she showed no sign of coming to an agreement. Since I only had $50's and $100's on me, coupled with the fact that I had just driven eight hours from NC -- I handed over a $50, and received $18 back. As an attorney advisor, I normally would argue in this situation, but decided to let it slide this time. I was originally planning on tipping $6, which would have totaled $22, so I essentially paid an extra $10 on what I was initally planning on paying. In short -- if you ask for your haircut to be amended -- it's likely you too, will get rung up for two haircuts, instead of just one.

Great haircuts! Every one of the people there does a really good job, except for one guy who stopped working there several years ago. They’re also pretty speedy. I highly recommend, and at $16 it’s a great deal.

From first glance, you'd probably end up passing by without noticing their location. Located in a shopping plaza where business have come and gone, next to a now empty liquor store (relocated down the road), this place remains standing strong. However once you've visited here, you won't forget it. A family run establishment, Huys aims to give a quality haircut at a fraction of the price you'd expect. The owner always provides quality conversation, bettering the experience. A very friendly atmosphere along with affordable and quality cuts, makes this a must visit place. You don't receive a wash and cut, but you will receive a neck shave. This minor service is not something covered by other places. The finish of a neck shave let's you walk out the door feeling like your cut is complete. An average cut will run you sub 15 dollars. Take a $20, so you can provide a good tip. Not expected, but the gratuity will not go unnoticed.
