I had a fantastic first experience at this barber shop today. I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated by Fong. She asked me to explain what it was that I wanted and I described the way that I wanted my hair cut and my beard trimmed. She asked several follow up questions throughout the process just to clarify that she understood exactly what it was that I wanted before proceeding. I really liked that because in the past, several barbers have made incorrect assumptions about what I wanted. I will absolutely be coming back next time I need a haircut and a beard trim. It's convenient to where I live, the price is fair, and I had a really good experience there and walked out with my hair and beard EXACTLY the way that I wanted them.

Everything was amazing until the business next door opened, since then no parking, small space to maneuver through packed parking, no additional parking is created and if you not familiar with the area, you can spend an entire hour waiting for parking spot. People, using unauthorized access to the business next door back parking, no efforts were made to improve parking situation. I believe those businesses are going to ruin each other clientele. The PRODUCTS are good, and the parking situation was very upsetting to discover.

You guys can definitely delete my review every time I post it, but I will absolutely check my review every morning, afternoon, and night. An absolutely most horrible experience I’ve ever had in my life, the barber was extremely impatient since I walked into the store(it’s my first time being there). He used pomade without asking me in advance, and told me to wash it off impatiently like it’s my fault. I had no idea what I did to him, it’s like I owe him something. Of course I got the ugliest haircut I’ve ever had in my life. I 10000% don’t recommend going there. And I think you need to pay more attention to your customer service instead of telling me to “find a life”, and thanks to your fantastic customer service, it’s my first time writing a review on google map.

I absolutely love this place. I've been there every few weeks for the past three years now and I have no complaints at all. The place is clean and everybody's so efficient. I prefer Bruce and Lena because they both do a really very good job... not that the others don't! I just never tried them since Bruce and Lena have been so good!

I've been coming to get my haircut from Bruce, Lina, and Fong at Redland Barber Shop for several years now and I have always had great haircuts. The hardest part is deciding who to chose when I walk in and all three are available!

Wonderful service! Great haircut! Due to my husband’s disability, Bruce was even kind enough to come to our home on his day off. Very highly recommend Bruce and Redland Barber!

The BEST of the BEST! Super friendly (which is huge for me!), super clean, great haircuts; just the best ALL around! Couldn’t be happier I found Redland Barber Shop! I take my little guys for their haircuts and they love it!

I'm not quite sure how this place has such a high rating. I'm nearsighted, so it wasn't until I had left the shop did I realize what a mistake I had made. 1. The barber had used a trimmer to cut my bangs. My hair basically looks like a third grader cut it because it's uneven. 2. The hair around my temples was cut unevenly. One end is square, but the other end is curved. 3. I asked for my sideburns to be trimmed. Basically, they were completely removed when I pointed out that they were uneven. Pointing out unevenness doesn't mean I want then trimmed off completely, I just wanted them cut even... 4. The top of my head wasn't cut evenly. I have some hairs sticking out that are 2.5 inches long while the rest are about an inch long. 5. I mentioned I would shave off my beard at home. The lady cutting my hair ran a trimmer along my beard, but basically did it unevenly...I really didn't request she touch up my beard. I am not sure if I was billed for this, I kinda want my hair cut then roll out of the barber shop so I can get on with my day. I'll never return here again, and I have no idea why this place has so many great reviews. Perhaps the other barbers are great, but one bad haircut has soured my taste forever. I don't even know where to get a good haircut for a reasonable price in the Rockville area... Edit: did not even cut around my ears. I have longer hairs around the area

Bruce is the best and only barber I trust with my hair as well as my sons now. I’ve been going to a Bruce since I was in high school and have always been more then satisfied over the years. I love the atmosphere and feel like I’m at home when I walk in.
