Great experience at J&K Barber in Damascus, MD. Jade was fantastic—she really listened, took her time, and paid close attention to detail. The haircut came out exactly how I wanted it, clean and well done. Definitely recommend Jade if you’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work.

I just went here. Asked for a npassed. on sides and just a tiny bit off the top. I look like I just joined the army now. Truly ruined my day. I wish they would ask questions if they weren't sure what to do. Never going back. Went way up onto the top of my head instead of fading on the sides. So pissed.

Went for the first time and had a good experience. She was very attentive to detail. Price was about $22 for a men's haircut, I think $29 for a haircut and beard trim (can't remember exactly). Another reviewer posted a $40-$50 range, this is not true.

Terrible experience, for a place that advertised beard trims on their window, running a guarded razor over your face isn’t a beard trim, could have done that at home if that’s what I wanted….. back of neck was cut buy either a dull razor or lack of experience, once I got home and attempted to fix my beard myself, here I sit with my neck covered in razor burn, never once have I been to a barber and got cut or razor burn, not to mention the extreme language barrier…. It seems the owner has the better reviews and I noticed he was the only one with a license on the wall, maybe if you make an appointment with him you will have better luck then me

What a terrible experience, there's a lady in there who has no respect to customers. While cutting hair, she checks and text on her phone so many times. She exchanged words with me and was even loud because of a service she refused to perform. She left a child on the chair waiting to shave and went to talk to a male customer who just left the saloon. She stayed out there for a while and when she was called in she wasn't happy about it and even exchanged words with her colleague. It's a good place don't get me wrong, but that particular lady needs to learn some customer service. She was just too rude.

Amazing barber. I have had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Jade and Thu, both masters at the trade. There is a third barber there as well who also seems fantastic. A place that really cares about their customers' experience and does an extra fine job cutting hair. My go-to spot in Damascus, and all of Greater Washington for that matter.

Worst experience ever!!! I almost cried there. My kids hair was cut so poorly. Don’t you ever come here. They really don’t know what they are doing here. The lady so poor in her approach when we try to explain her that we wanted number one cut by going further to ask for hair to be left on the top, another thing was done for on my kids head, It was a total mess and my kids was not happy with his cut and started crying as we went home that he doesn’t look good in it. Please I as so disappointed and unsatisfied with this service at J&K Barber as I will never come here again.

Went in for both a men’s cut and a women’s trim. Paid $96 before tip for both, she took my husband’s hair way shorter than asked and cut most of his beard off, though he didn’t want his beard touched. When she brushed my (still wet) hair she just yanked the brush through it and ripped a good bit of my hair out. All I wanted was my dead ends trimmed up and layers maintained, but she gave me curtain bangs that hang directly in front of my eyes. Horrible, overpriced experience. I’m usually easy to please at the hairdresser but this was awful.

Ms. Fon is super nice and patient. With kids on the spectrum, hair cuts are a nightmare but she deserves an applause for her ability to just go with the flow and make the best of it. Not once did I feel like she just wanted me out of there. Thank you, we will definitely be going back to her!

Just got another great cut. Thu and Jade run the best barber shop between Baltimore/Frederick/DC. Fair prices. Disney quality customer service, 5 star cuts. This place rocks! Happy to bring my money back week after week.
