After moving to MD for my army career I struggled to find a barber who was able to cut my hair they way I wanted and after 4 decent local barber shops I was lucky to find Social Barber Company in Crofton after getting called out for my long hair. I was instantly greeted and offered something to drink while I waited for the next available barber to take me as a walk-in. I had the fortune to get my haircut by Josh that understood what I wanted and was able to execute it perfectly. Honestly the best service I’ve gotten anywhere.

Staff is amazing! Grace is awesome and always super helpful. If you need great beard work this is the place and she’s the one! My kids also go there to Grace and Chi and always love their haircuts. Could not recommend more highly…6 stars!

This place is great. Grace is constantly knocking my haircut out of the park. But she’s not the only one. Her staff and fellow barbers are welcoming, curious, and warm. Highly recommend. And the remodel looks great.

As a veteran who has lived in several cities around the world, finding a consistent place for a great haircut has always been a challenge. I’ve spent years looking for a barbershop where I could trust I’d walk out with a quality cut and feel like the experience matched what I was paying for. Then I found Social Barber Company (which, by the way, is an awesome name for a barbershop). From the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere — cool without trying too hard, welcoming, and authentic. I was a walk-in and had the chance to get my hair cut by Grace, and it was hands down the best haircut of my life. Grace is kind, personable, and has a great sense for reading the room — she knows exactly how much (or how little) you feel like chatting during your appointment. She’s incredibly talented, and I later found out she’s also the owner. Watching her run the operation while delivering a top-tier cut at the same time was seriously impressive. I haven’t let anyone else cut my hair since. If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel comfortable and helps you look your best, look no further. Book an appointment at this one-of-a-kind establishment — you truly can’t go wrong with any of their talented staff.

Love this place! The shop looks absolutely amazing — the aesthetic is clean, modern, and just a really cool vibe all around. First time visiting Social Crofton and we had a great experience! Josh S. was amazing, super patient with my 6-year-old and did an awesome job with his haircut. He made the whole experience easy and comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Cara cut my sons hair and did a very good job. My son was happy with his haircut and so was I. She was also very polite and had great customer service. I felt comfortable in the being in the barbershop. I appreciate her making my son and I feel comfortable.

Amazing service every time I’ve come here. I get a low skin fade on very straight hair and it’s always blended and shaped just the way I like. The employees are very helpful and courteous as well, from offering a drink upon arrival to making sure every customer is greeted promptly. Grace has done an excellent job helping me correct an awful, too-short cut I got elsewhere.

Amber is an amazing barber with a genuinely great spirit. From the moment you sit in her chair, you can feel her positive energy and passion for what she does. She pays incredible attention to detail, making sure every line, fade, and edge is perfect. You never leave her chair feeling anything less than confident and looking sharp. Awesome haircut and friendly staff. They give free drinks when you come in as well. Good vibes. Chi is my barber but everyone is good. Chi needs a raise😂 always a good guy and one of the reason I keep coming back here. This is 30 min away from me btw. ✌️ hope this helps you choose this place. 🙂
