Decent barber. My only complaint is if you want to be first in line to get a cut, don't show up right at opening time. They seem to generally open a few minutes late.

Been going here for 15 years and can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve tried other barbers in the area and nobody else does as good a job as Tran, Tina, and the rest of the crew. Only downside is cash only and a little more expensive than other barbers ($24 before tip) but 110% worth it. They’re fast, polite, remember you, and all around wonderful.

I have been here before and I got a great haircut. I went yesterday and Tina wasn’t there but I was okay to try another barber. I wish I had waited for Tina to come back during the week. I ended up with a very uneven cut, one side is super short and the other side is very long. I did request to maintain the length and give a trim but there wasn’t any blend in done between front side and back side. So disappointed. I might check if Tina can fix it but I feel super awkward. Update- I went in the next day when Tina was working and she fixed my haircut. They did not charge me again. Hair got shorter but that was the only way to fix and I love it. Thanks Tina ! Will be seeing you soon again ! Updating my review from 1 to 5star.

I prefer to cut my own hair for the most part. I know what works for me and how to get it, but cutting your own hair is neither convenient nor a very efficient use of time lest you have quite a few hands to spare on the clock. My brother had a party after their game at a nearby school, so i decided to get a haircut while he finished. I thoroughly explained each and every step with intricate details; and the barber, an aged gentleman, nodded along with confidence. I wanted a taper, no fade, with medium on top, short on the sides, with no line up. I close my eyes as he starts trimming the sides at a modest pace. Everything seems alright as I look from time to time to see how it is progressing. All of a sudden, the barber starts making a mid fade guideline. And I don't notice it until I feel the cold metal on my skin. The sort you feel when you shave a beard for the first time in a long time. At this point he's already cut a good 3-4 inches along the side since he worked quite fast. Needless to say, I resigned myself and let him do his thing since there wasn't much else for me to get, nor could I hide it with the adjacent hair being already trimmed. Regardless, i tipped generously and promised to never risk it again.

I drive 4 and half hours from North Carolina to see Kim at Royal Barber. She’s an excellent barber who has a keen eye to detail. She has been cutting my hair for 5 years now and has always given me excellent service. I would highly recommend Kim and Royal Barbers!

*****Ms Kim gets the 5 star rating, not the entire barbershop***** The other barbers are average barbers but Kim has proven to me she's the most consistant and thorough barber on the premises. I get my hair cut once a month and my kids every 6 to 8 weeks. My 25 year old son would accept whoever was available, but after being cut twice by two of the men barbers, he finally took my advice and now only lets Kim cut his hair. Because she's that good, sometimes the wait is 30+ minutes, but it's worth it. Men's haircut is priced at $18, touch-up $12, kids $16. I've detected some inconsistencies with how some customers are charged. My last visit I saw two customers charged only $12 when it was clearly obvious they were given complete haircuts. One of the two also had his beard trimmed but still only paid $12. Kim always charges me the posted price, which I'm prepared and expect to pay. As a repeat customer, if discounts were to be given, it would be nice to get one from time to time. But I'm sure that isn't in Kim's hands to decide.

This barber shop is fantastic. My hair was cut by one Tina and she is so perfect. I recommend her any day. October 30, 2019 was the first day I had my hair cut by her.

Love this place for quick, inexpensive, basic haircut. Staff is quiet, I like that. Cut is always consistent. I believe these folks are Vietnamese and have a tradition of giving a small neck massage after the cut, beware if you have neck problems. Been going here for over 10 years and never sorry.

My son was given a beautiful cut after diligently growing his hair out over the past year to donate for cancer patients. My 9 year old was put at ease immediately. The staff was warm and friendly and made the transformation a wonderful experience.

Consistently good haircuts! Kim has been cutting my hair for over 8 years, always happy with the result. Tran, Dan, and Mark all have return customers as well, that says a lot about the quality and price.
