Go see Kevin at u.s he is super friendly and his wife is the best. Sometimes she even gives out free cookies and snacks not take just one no no. She will send you home with a whole tray full.

Kevin and his wife are very accommodating. They had cookies to eat while we waited and they are a cute husband-wife business. They are cash only, so bring about $20 per person to cover haircut and tip. There’s a nail salon next door that has an atm if you forget to grab cash before you arrive.

USA Barbershop in my opinion is the Best in Harrisonburg Virginia And affordable. They show you hospitality and gratitude as you open the door. If you haven’t check them out then you gotta try because you won’t regret it! Moe has been cutting my hair for over a year now and hands down that he is the best Barber around!

Terrible, pathetic, unhygienic and painful experience. I visited the shop on July 06, 2025, to shave my head and beard. There was a new guy, who attended me. Ironically, despite asking him several times to shave my head using razor, he kept using an unhygienic sharp machine. He kept me telling, he had to do it step by step. Finally, he used the razor without using any hydration. It was a painful experience. I gave him benefit of doubt that probably this is how they did head shave. Next when it came to my beard shave, I suffered the same experience. He shaved without using any shaving foam or gel. Once done, he asked me $40, I gave him $50, and he never returned any penny, keeping $10 of tip all by himself, without asking. I still ignored everything as there were customers around and I didn't want to hurt their business. However, on my way back home, after 10 minutes, my head and cheeks started burning as hell. When I touched and looked closely, there were blade cuts all over. I returned back to the shop and talked to Kevin, who said it was not his shop, but instead he was just working as a worker to his wife's shop. I asked him about this new guy, and he replied that he didn't know him well. He just met him a few days ago. Terrible, pathetic, unhygienic and painful experience.

I've been going here for about a year now. This looks like a family owned and operated business. They're haircutting is on par with the average barber shop. Nothing out of this world but I don't really have any complaints either. Their prices are VERY reasonable. I usually pay $16 for a regular haircut so with a $4 dollar tip, I walk away spending only a $20 for a haircut. They do have a very nice personal touch: they always have cookies or waters or candies or muffins out for customers to enjoy. It's an unexpected but nice touch. One thing to note is that they only take cash. While this is slightly inconvenient in our digital age, I guess it's a small price for the lower prices. Overall, I can't complain and will continue to patronize this business.

I don't know what all these negative reviews are about. This is a self started, family owned barber business that does a pretty darn good job cutting hair. I go here two or three times a month and only once out of 50+ visits have I had a haircut that wasn't to my liking. Very genuine family, reasonable prices compared to most barbers in the area, and extremely accommodating by having multiple tv channels on display, candy and books for the kids, and a warm welcome when you walk in or leave.
