If you value your hair don’t even think about it, last time I went there for a haircut, I asked for a barber then I got a cook instead.

Won’t go anywhere else. Lived in the area my entire life, when I was younger it didn’t really matter to me where I got my hair cut. Sometimes I would go to the hair cuttery, and i wasn’t always entirely impressed with the results. But I won’t go anywhere else anymore other than the barbershop, and I just rather Peter cut my hair. Last time I went he didn’t even need to ask what I wanted. He just cut. I’m not good at ordering haircuts anyway. Anytime he asked how I want it done, I just say, “shorter, whatever you think is best”. Peter and the barbershop are true staples of Burtonsville. It’s sad to see the longtime owner Peter sell the barbershop, but he moved on to bigger and brighter things. Edit: I went back now three or four times with the two new owners and they are also great and extremely professional. The younger guy remembers how I want it cut without me having to explain it.

Used to come here from time to time for a couple of years cause it was the only place I could find that can cut my hair okay but never really what I ask for each time. The barbers do not have the consensus of todays haircut styles nor have experience with other hair types. However, recently it came to my attention that they have been trimming my beard unevenly. I approached the lady who did this to me two times and I confronted her the third time and she got hostile with me but a minute later she almost made the same mistake again but caught it and realized she was in the wrong but wasn't apologetic. Won't be back here again.

Asked for a trim on the sides, and a thinning on top. So the barber cuts a gross high fade instead of medium, takes 5 inches off of the top, and chops the bangs up. Now I look like a toddler. Still had to pay 21$, and they don't take card. I will not be going back. I'd give a one-star review, but I don't believe in one- or five-star reviews.

I want say just a couple words.. I have been customer for the past 20 years at this place. The whole team from the owners to the stuff are great. Kim is mine barber. She knows what I need and how I need. If you come you will not regret.

New to Maryland and figured I give this barbershop a try. I'm a African American with a son. We walked in and the Tony guy didn't even approach us. A female barber eventually did. She had no clue how to cut hair. Worst experience ever . My son was bleeding during the cut. Unprofessional.

Great local barbershop. Peter does a great job maintaining the shop The barbers are great. They have 4 most days. It is a no frills babrershop. They give a great hair cut at a fair price (typically least than $20). Being going here for years.

Great service, clean, great staff! Tony cut my 4yr old’s Hair and did a great job with it, since my son has a cowlick in the back that won’t go away. He took his time, talked to my son to make him feel comfortable, and at the end gave him a lollipop for doing a good job sitting in the chair. Cash-only locale, but if you want quality for a good price that won’t break the bank, this place is it!! Will be back again!
