Had an excellent experience getting haircuts for two toddler boys. Were accepted for last minute appointments, boys seen at same time, service was so friendly, quick, hair looks great. We will be back!

I’m always apprehensive when taking my five year old to get a haircut because you just never know how it’ll turn out, even if you show an inspo pic. But I saw a review about Colette fixing someone else’s son’s jacked up haircut, so I tried them out. They did an amazing job! We’ll definitely be back!

Was warmly welcomed upon arrival. JR is an artist when it comes to fades and styling men’s hair. Gave me excellent advice on my somewhat difficult to maintain curly hair.

I’m writing this review over a year after my first and only visit. Only doing so after someone asked if I’d recommend the place. For reference I was 23, and asked for a burst fade with a design shaved on the side of my head. I provided photos on my phone of previous cuts I’ve received for reference. My experience was terrible, only after about 1/3 the way through my cut did the woman cutting my hair tell me she was in training and had never done this style before. She had a second female barber come help her and they were basically switching and using me as a teaching moment. Then they had a third barber, a taller gentleman(whom I was most comfortable with) shave the design in the side of my head which was the only “good” part of the experience. They never told me up front she was in training, she never said upfront that she hadn’t done this cut before, it was cut too short where I wanted it longer showing off the beginning of my receding hairline, it took over an hour. To top it off at the end, assuming they sensed my anxiety and disappointment, they asked me to take pictures of my cut and use it somewhere, which I regret accepting but admit I should have declined or said something in the moment. FINALLY we get to the end and the price was crazy… I should have known, I still tipped 20% but they asked me to leave an additional tip after for the gentleman that shaved the design into my head. I reluctantly did so. I had 3 barbers work on my hair, tipped twice, all for it to look worse than any I’ve received in the last 3-4 years. I should have accepted the beer when offered, I could have used it. -Alan

Met the barber Raul and he did a phenomenal job. I booked an appointment with him and he greeted me at the door, offered me water and a mint, and listened to all my requests. We had a great conversation and haircut turned out exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend! Will be coming back

This was my first time here, I had an appointment for 12, got called and rescheduled for 1230, thats okay! I get there, front desk lady, blonde blue eyes was very nice told me she's going to call my stylist and she should come get me shortly. 20 minutes later, finally, a stylist came back to get me! Hooray, sit down. Very dull conversations and felt rushed during my haircut. The haircut is okay, not impressed honestly. Usually, at other places, I get a wash. I specifically told my stylist I had gone swimming the night prior, I didn't wash my hair and I just put leave-in, in. I mean I didn't get offered even a wash😬 The rest of staff weren't friendly, just the one blonde lady with longer hair. You never know how someone's day is going or what people do for a living. This wasn't that nice of an experience for me. Personally I like talking alot and genuine conversations with someone who potentially is going to be my stylist for a long time. I get that there's a time slot but, it shouldn't feel rushed especially if i get my appointment pushed back for some reason, after it's already been changed. And the fact that the people aren't personable. The name of the business is honestly very deceiving because it's not a social place. I mean I get what they're trying to do with the theme but it feels super shallow and watered down as a company. Like oooo, i get a straight razor to the back of my neck, that's it? I mean I could just get my wife to do that, where's the wash? Where's the brushing off my face? I meam I had TONS of hair on my face after I got my cut. I literally had to take a full out shower when i got back. I'll go to another salon from now on and definitely do not recommend this place. Super disappointing

The Social Barber in Annapolis is great place to get a cut and color. The place is clean, convenient and everyone is nice. My stylist, Tammy, is awesome. She’s friendly, professional, and always makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. What really sets her apart is how consistently excellent her work is—she gets the job done right the first time. From clean cuts to color, she knows her craft and it shows.

I've been a loyal client of Laura's at Social Barber for over 10 years, and I can't recommend her enough! Laura is a true master when it comes to cutting hair and trimming beards. Every visit, I walk out looking sharp and feeling my best! The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff who make you feel right at home. The welcoming atmosphere only adds to the fantastic service you receive. I can honestly say there’s not a single negative thing to share about my experience at Social Barber. Highly recommend!
